Certainly! My journey began with a passion for music, freestyling in school cafeterias and eventually releasing my first album in 2013. The thrill of seeing my music climb to #21 on the national top 200 airplay charts fueled my ambition to explore other creative avenues. This led me to become a #1 best-selling author in the realm of self-help short reads, where I shared insights and inspiration with readers worldwide.
From there, I ventured into the beauty business and the world of business consulting, leveraging my diverse experiences to empower others in their entrepreneurial endeavors. My work in the tech industry further honed my skills in innovation and problem-solving, paving the way for my current focus on real estate.
Each chapter of my journey has been a building block, intertwining my passion for creativity, entrepreneurship, and helping others. Today, I’m excited to cross-brand and bring together my multifaceted expertise to make a meaningful impact in the world of real estate, guiding clients towards their dreams with the same enthusiasm and dedication that have defined my path thus far.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The road to where I am today has been anything but smooth, but each challenge has been a valuable lesson in resilience and determination. One of the most significant hurdles I faced early on was securing capital and building credit to fuel my entrepreneurial ventures. It required creative problem-solving and tenacity to navigate these financial obstacles and establish a solid foundation for my businesses.
Additionally, while I’ve been fortunate to have unwavering support from loved ones, balancing the demands of entrepreneurship with being a mom has been a constant juggling act. Managing the responsibilities of motherhood, which always come first for me, alongside the demands of running multiple businesses has required careful time management and prioritization.
Despite these challenges, I’ve learned to embrace the journey and view each obstacle as an opportunity for growth. Through perseverance and determination, I’ve been able to overcome setbacks and continue moving forward towards my goals. And while the road may have been rocky at times, the lessons learned along the way have only strengthened my resolve and deepened my passion for making a positive impact in both my personal and professional life.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’ve always believed in pushing boundaries and refusing to be confined to conventional categories. My work reflects this ethos of relentless determination and authenticity. I specialize in solutions, whether it’s in my roles as an entrepreneur, artist, or real estate professional. I’m known for my unwavering commitment to excellence and my refusal to settle for anything less than the best.
What sets me apart from others is my unique blend of versatility, creativity, and fearlessness. I’m not afraid to take risks, challenge the status quo, and pursue my passions with unbridled enthusiasm. But above all, what I’m most proud of is staying true to myself throughout this journey. I’ve never compromised my values or authenticity for the sake of success. Instead, I’ve embraced my individuality and used it as a source of strength and inspiration. My greatest legacy is not just the businesses I’ve built or the achievements I’ve earned but the example I’ve set for my children – showing them that with hard work, passion, and integrity, anything is possible.
We’re always looking for the lessons that can be learned in any situation, including tragic ones like the Covid-19 crisis. Are there any lessons you’ve learned that you can share?
The Covid-19 crisis has been a profound teacher, reminding us all of the fragility of life and the importance of resilience and adaptability. One of the most important lessons I’ve learned is the value of time – even when we have the most of it, we must use it wisely, investing in ourselves and our growth.
This period of uncertainty has reinforced the importance of self-care and personal development, prompting me to prioritize my well-being and invest in activities that nourish my mind, body, and soul. It’s also taught me the importance of compassion and empathy, reminding me to cherish my relationships and support those around me in any way I can.
But perhaps the most significant lesson of all is the importance of preparedness. The pandemic caught many of us off guard, highlighting the need to anticipate and plan for unexpected challenges. It’s taught me the value of being proactive rather than reactive, and the importance of being prepared for whatever life may throw our way.
In essence, the Covid-19 crisis has been a wake-up call, reminding me to live each day with intention, to cherish the moments we have, and to always be prepared for whatever the future may hold.
