Daily Inspiration: Meet Ifeoluwa Kazeem

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ifeoluwa Kazeem.

Hi Ifeoluwa, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My journey began at the age of 8, right beside my mum in the kitchen. What started as a simple desire to help her quickly blossomed into a deep passion for cooking. Sensing my interest, my mum enrolled me in a catering class, and that experience completely transformed me. It wasn’t just about learning recipes—it sparked a lifelong love for culinary arts. That early exposure laid the foundation for the chef I am today and continues to inspire the path I’m building.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It hasn’t always been a smooth road. Like any journey, there were challenges along the way. At times, I doubted myself or felt like giving up, especially when things didn’t go as planned. There were moments where I didn’t have enough resources or support, and balancing everything could be tough. But every setback taught me something valuable and helped me grow stronger.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I work as an IT Auditor, which means I help organizations make sure their computer systems are secure and working the way they should. I check things like who has access to what, how data is protected, and whether the company is following important rules and policies.

What I enjoy most is helping teams understand their systems better and find ways to improve. I don’t just point out problems—I work with people to find practical solutions that actually help the business. What makes me different is that I can explain technical things in a way that’s easy to understand, so everyone is on the same page. I really take pride in making the audit process helpful and not just something people feel stressed about.

If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
Growing up, I was naturally curious and full of energy. I loved asking questions, exploring new things, and trying to understand how things worked—especially when it came to anything hands-on or creative. I was also very observant and liked to help out, whether it was in the kitchen, at school, or around the house.

Personality-wise, I was a mix of playful and focused. I enjoyed making people laugh, but I also took my responsibilities seriously. I was the type of child who could be both the class clown and the dependable one. My interest in cooking, creativity, and learning started early, and those parts of me have really stayed with me as I’ve grown.
