Today we’d like to introduce you to Jada Mullins.
Hi Jada, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I am a fashion designer with over seven years of experience and the founder of the fashion brand Savvy Nevaeh. I created this brand in 2017. I’ve always had a passion for fashion but never really knew it. I couldn’t afford all the nice designer and the most trendiest fashion so I took matters into my own hands and started recreating and/or creating my own designs. I received so many compliments and recognition for my work so I decided to spread the love and create custom work, tailoring and even designing. I eventually took a leap of faith and started my own “slow” fashion brand, Savvy Nevaeh. My work has been showcased in numerous events across the DFW area, including fashion shows, pop up shops, and networking events. I also have launched several alluring collections. In 2019, I had the opportunity to intern for designer Jourali during New York Fashion Week at the Society Fashion Show. I was also featured in Los Angeles Fashion week at the Los Angeles convention center in October 2022.
While fashion has always been my passion. I realized that people support people, not just products. That understanding led me to build my personal brand, JadaDan, and take my YouTube channel more seriously, allowing my audience to truly get to know me beyond the designs. I create faith-based, lifestyle, Fashion and beauty content that reflects my real life.
I am a wife, a mother to a five year old son and a follower of Christ. I live a beautifully multifaceted life, and I invite my audience into it. I create a space for women to feel inspired, seen, and confident in who they are becoming.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It has not been a smooth road at all. When I gave God my yes, I have been holding on by a thread ever since, literally. Some obstacles I faced were feeling unmotivated at times, self-doubt, lack of financial stability, burn-out & the list goes on but by the grace of God I’ve been able to handle and grow to the person that I am today.

I am a fashion designer with over seven years of experience and the founder of fashion brand Savvy Nevaeh. I specialize in designing, draping, tailoring, and perfecting sustainable “slow” fashion garments for both men and women. My work blends urban culture with refined tailoring, creating bold, distinctive pieces that empower individuals to express their identity with confidence. I believe what separates me from most designers is my journey and style. Like I mentioned before I am self educated which requires more determination than receiving opportunities like a fashion institution or being fathered in to the fashion industry. It’s a cut throat career. Although, those opportunities would have been amazing. I wouldn’t have changed my journey for the world. It helped build my drive and provided me a different outcome of success. It also introduced me to my style of work. That, I believe, is one of a kind.

The Holy Bible is by far the best book that anyone could use to become a better version of themselves. This has been my holy grail for a long while now.
