Before founding Hart Roofing & Construction, I spent nearly a decade in retail management. It was a rewarding career, but I always knew I wanted to build something of my own. When I was offered a position as a sales representative at a startup roofing company, I saw an opportunity—not just to learn a new industry, but to take a step closer to my long-term vision of business ownership.
What began as a leap of faith quickly became a passion. I found myself drawn to the work, the relationships, and the tangible impact we could make in people’s lives by restoring and protecting their homes. Over the years, I gained invaluable experience in roofing and construction, leading countless successful property restoration projects and deepening my understanding of what it takes to deliver real value to customers.
Eventually, the time was right to take the next step—and Hart Roofing & Construction was born. Backed by over a decade of industry experience, our mission is simple: to deliver high-quality craftsmanship, honest guidance, and peace of mind to every homeowner we serve. The journey has been incredible—and we’re just getting started.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Not at all—and I think that’s part of what makes the journey so meaningful.
I had never owned a business before, and no one in my family had either, so I didn’t have a roadmap. Stepping out from under the umbrella of the company I’d worked for meant I had to build everything from the ground up—my own brand, my own reputation, and my own systems. That came with a steep learning curve.
One of the biggest challenges was building a team that not only had the skill but also shared the values that Hart Roofing & Construction was founded on. I had to create training programs, establish processes, and instill a culture of integrity and excellence from day one. There were long days, tough decisions, and lessons learned the hard way—but all of it shaped the company we are today.
Looking back, the road wasn’t always smooth, but every challenge pushed us to grow stronger, smarter, and more committed to serving our customers the right way.

At Hart Roofing & Construction, we specialize in roofing and storm restoration for both residential and commercial properties, with a primary focus on insurance claims following hail or wind damage. Our team is equipped to install and replace all types of roofing systems, and we pride ourselves on delivering solutions that go beyond the surface.
What truly sets us apart is our attention to detail, consistent communication, and the professionalism we bring to every project. We treat each property as if it were our own—and that mindset shows in everything we do.
One of the things we’re most proud of is our commitment to building roofing systems that don’t just meet expectations—they outperform them. A lot of that comes down to what most people don’t see: what’s underneath the shingles. We take extra care in the components that form the foundation of the roof, ensuring long-term performance and durability. Unfortunately, this is where many in the industry cut corners, which can lead to costly problems down the road. We refuse to take that approach.
At the end of the day, our goal is simple: to protect what matters most to our clients through quality craftsmanship, honest guidance, and a roofing system they can rely on for years to come.
What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
One of the things we love most about the Dallas–Fort Worth area is its incredible diversity and vibrant population. It gives us the opportunity to work with people from all walks of life, each with their own story and perspective. That kind of cultural richness makes doing business here truly rewarding. And of course, you can’t beat the warmth and hospitality that Texans are known for—it’s something we deeply value and aim to reflect in our own customer experience.
On the flip side, one of the challenges in our industry is that Texas doesn’t require roofing contractors to be licensed. Unfortunately, that lack of regulation opens the door for bad actors—contractors who cut corners or provide misleading information—which can leave homeowners vulnerable. It’s something we take seriously at Hart Roofing & Construction. We work hard to educate our clients, earn their trust, and raise the standard in an industry where accountability isn’t always guaranteed.
