Hi Kristy, so excited to have you on the platform. So, before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today.
K-Chelle Kosmetics was brought to Life during the peak of The Coronavirus outbreak…With so much idle time, I started to be creative by Making lipgloss…My fiancé encouraged me to get into this hobby due to my love for beauty products…Lipstick to be exact (As I have always been known for my Lips to Pop!.)In turn, I begin to study the art of making different natural products for my family…As we continued to use these products and I realized just how good these products were working for us all, I started to venture out into making my products in bigger batches…I started by selling to family and friends and then I started doing Popup shops…As my customer base grew, I begin to think bigger…My fiancé created me a website and we found a storefront…we Came up with a Business Plan, name, and motto and she gifted me My first LLC…As I turned my hobby into a business I continued to study the ingredients I used and begin to make my own recipes for Natural cosmetic products that are suitable for everyone. My inspiration has been my customers from day one. Being allowed to bring out the Beauty in others is a beautiful thing…By offering Exceptional products and Affordable prices We have continued to grow…Although it has been some rough patches we are still standing and we stand by our products!… All products are handmade by myself and researched for accurate results. We are now currently located inside of “Plaza Now” bazaar in the Oak cliff sector of Dallas

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
There have been highs and lows in this business. Although as a new business owner, I definitely didn’t expect anything different…Finding the perfect area has been a challenge but I have faith that this last move was my best move.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I make all custom products. From Cosmetics to Jewelry. I started out with just Lipgloss and lipstick and I now have a complete line of All-natural cosmetic products as well as home fragrances. I’m super proud of all my products, but the jewelry is what I am most proud of. I make Clay and Resin earrings by hand. Just creating such beautiful, one-of-a-kind masterpieces make my heart smile….I believe that what truly sets me apart from others in my profession is that I’m all authentic. Nothing rebranded, all my own recipes and my own hands creating then. I take pride in what I create!
Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
I myself have been known to be a leader and mentor so thankfully I’ve been able to challenge myself within. I’m a realist so I’m very hard on myself. But getting things done is what I’m Known to do!..
