Hi Magdiel, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Magdiel Photography & Films is a dynamic team led by a married couple based in Dallas-Ft. Worth. Our love story began 15 years ago, after five years of dating. I’m from Honduras, and my wife, Adriana, is from California who was living in Honduras when we met and tied the knot. We’re proud parents of two amazing kids, aged 12 and 8, who share our passion for capturing memories.
Our journey took a tough turn when, upon returning from a dreamy honeymoon in Florida, we were hit by a robbery. Among the stolen items were our laptops, which held all our wedding and honeymoon memories.
In 2010, we made the big move to the US. Over time, the absence of our precious memories weighed heavily on us. It was when we were expecting our daughter that we decided to invest in photo and video gear, aiming to rebuild our family’s visual story. What started as a personal mission soon turned into a full-fledged profession, leading us to switch from our previous business to become full-time photographers and videographers specializing in love stories.
For the past eight years we’ve been in the business, we have captured over 350 love stories (weddings), drawing inspiration from our own journey. Our experiences have taught us the value and the importance of making weddings unforgettable yet stress-free.
Through Magdiel Photography & Films, our goal is not just to snap pictures but to create lasting narratives that resonate with our clients’ hearts.
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Achieving greatness often means overcoming obstacles. As a couple, we’ve experienced our share of highs and lows, but our commitment has always seen us through. Being entrepreneurs is tough and navigating it as a married couple adds even more challenges. However, we’re passionate about our work and find joy in overcoming these obstacles together.

We specialize in wedding photography and videography, aiming to capture the beautiful moments and heartfelt emotions of couples’ special days. Our priority is to provide our clients with a seamless and stress-free experience, ensuring that their big day is easy to enjoy. We understand that it’s the most important day of their lives, and our focus is entirely on them.
What makes us unique is our personal approach. As a husband-and-wife team, we bring a dynamic and intimate perspective to our work, allowing us to capture genuine moments and connections between our clients. Our dedication to excellence and passion for our craft are evident in every love story we tell. It’s incredibly rewarding to know that we’ve played a part in creating lasting memories for our clients.

What are your plans for the future?
Throughout the years, capturing an average of 40 weddings annually has enabled us to forge connections not only with countless wonderful couples and their families but also with numerous vendors within the industry. Building these relationships has led to collaborations with some vendors, capturing their entrepreneurial stories and sharing them with the wider community. This expansion of our network has opened up new opportunities for us to undertake storytelling projects beyond wedding days.
As our children grow, they’re quickly learning the ropes, and in just a few years, we envision becoming more than just a husband-and-wife team. Our journey continues to evolve, and we’re excited to see where it takes us next.
