Today we’d like to introduce you to Makenzee Wolfe
Makenzee, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Allow me to introduce myself- I’m Makenzee Wolfe! A little about me and my story, growing up I always had a love for all things modeling, fashion, influencing/social media. It started out with competing in a pageant, which created a spark and love for these things, but elevated it even more. Modeling became more of the route I wanted to take and pursue around the end of high school, which then pushed me towards wanting to start influencing. I started out working with as many local photographers as I could, to promote both mine, and the photographers outreach, until I started getting more and more opportunities to do bigger things. I’m so grateful I pushed myself, and did not allow any of my doubts to stop me or let me give up, because now, I am signed by two amazing agencies. UFG Model Management, and EXA Models! Now I’ve decided upon focusing on more editorial, and swimsuit modeling. This definitely provided a lot more opportunities for me to grow on my social media. This pushed me to start my own Youtube channel, and now my own Podcast, “The Sunday Debrief”. Starting the Podcast was a huge and scary step for me, but it has become something I’m passionate about. There are 10 episodes as of now, and we have more coming out during the Fall Season. The podcast has inspired me to push and do more for myself, recently it sparked the idea of creating my own clothing company. I’ve always struggled to find outfits that best fit my style, that were different, and not over worn by other people. Another problem I always ran into was buying all the items I needed or wanted from the same website or store. I’d have to purchase a top from one website, bottoms from another, and shoes from another etc. I brought my idea to a business friend of mine, Christina, and she was all for it. From there we started making my vision come to life. The brand is “Urban Drew”, and will be set to launch October 21st, 2024! Urban Drew is created for females who adore the edgy, diverse, and unique clothing style. The brand is definitely an LA vibe, bringing you style you can use to dress up or down to fit any look you’re going for without being basic, and find all of the things you want in one spot!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
My biggest struggle in social media, business and modeling is consistency. Juggling all of the aspirations and goals I have, and staying consistent with the ones I’ve already accomplished is very difficult for me. Being in college for 8 months the past four years, then 4 months for Summer puts a big shift in things than you might imagine. Once you’re used to your routine, then having to pause to get in another routine and circle back to the first one is very challenging. I’ve definitely been working on ways to help make these transitions smoother, but it is still difficult. On top of that there’s days I get discouraged and down on myself, or the content I’m putting out, or deadlines I have to meet for my business, which causes me to fall behind and get inconsistent. College shifts are temporary, but the others will always be around. I’m continuing to try and find a solid routine that works best for me in any given circumstance.

To classify what I do, I am a Micro Influencer, Model, Podcast Host, and now business owner! My Instagram, Tiktok, and Youtube are @makenzeewolfe. To listen to the Podcast, you can do so on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, as well as Youtube! My most exciting accomplishment, and one I’m most proud of is Urban Drew. I believe what sets myself apart as well as my business is that I’m always striving to bring new, creative ideas to people and bring things that are different and make people feel seen by bringing unique styles!
We love surprises, fun facts and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
Something that many people don’t know about me is I’m from a small, West Texas oilfield town. I was born and raised in Odessa, Texas until I moved off and went to college at Texas Tech University. I now spend my summers in Dallas, Texas and spend time in Los Angeles, California as well. Another interesting thing that not many people know is the meaning behind the name of my clothing company, Urban Drew. I came up with Urban Drew because urban means populated and growing, and Urban Drew is an upcoming company that has plans to continue growing. Drew was super easy for me to come up with because it’s actually my middle name! I wanted to include something very personal to me that would be appealing to customers as well!
