Today we’d like to introduce you to Mianca Wright.
Hi Mianca, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
I started as a young girl born into poverty on the Eastside of Detroit, Michigan. Where I came from, success stories were good dreams to have but rarely happened. Statistically, my life should have turned out differently, and it almost did. I dedicated my time and energy over the years to bettering myself. I stayed consistent and dedicated to turning my life around. Every storm I endured shaped me into the inspiring woman that I am. I understand that all the trials and tribulations made me who I am today. I am so happy I made it, and I’m just getting started!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
My journey started as a turbulent flight. It was friction here and there, but eventually, I made it to my destination. The biggest struggle I faced was low confidence and inferior self-esteem. Growing up in trauma was the culprit to this. I found it difficult to believe in myself and what I had to offer. I questioned my gifts and talents for a long time despite the constant support I received. When your foundation is broken, it’s hard to see things straight. I battled with creating unrealistic traumatic scenarios in my head and negative thinking. This way of philosophy was the reason my mental picture was hazy. I had to drop this heaviness to elevate.
What helped me triumph over negative thought processes and depletion was understanding that I am valuable. The root of all this foolery was the illegitimate idea that I was inadequate. Why would I think something like that? I realized that many people who grow up in brokenness sadly deem themselves less than everyone else. Unhealed childhood wounds can make it hard to be a fully functioning and healthy individual. That’s the truth, and it’s heartbreaking.
I got the help I needed, and my dominant reflection was that I would survive. I fed my mind, body, and spirit positivity. As I heal on this journey, I pull others up with me. I love speaking about life and imparting empowerment and knowledge. I dedicate my life’s work to helping others reclaim their power. I want everyone to know how invaluable they are to this beautiful world.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am an author. My first self-published book Receiving Your Healing shares my life story and testimony. I put into perspective snapshots of my personal story of overcoming molestation, abuse, and childhood trauma. Being courageous to share my story was tough, but I did it to let others know that you can overcome anything. Your past does not matter. I want everyone who comes across my book to be taught the blueprint for prevailing over life’s most difficult moments and living free from guilt, hurt, and bondage. Healing the innermost wounds is the key to healing your outside world. Do not let history’s misfortunes dictate or inhibit your growth. You can live as happily and successfully as you want. It’s your life. Live it how you want!
My daughter, Nashiy Price, self-published her first children’s book, Virtual Learning, on her 10th birthday. We are a motivational mom-and-daughter, dynamic business duo! With mommy’s guidance and support, Nashiy is formally a second-generation author. She is rocking it! Nashiy writes, draws, dances, and is performing at the top of her class academically. Words cannot express how proud I am of her. Watching her many skills and talents develop is impressive. You can purchase Virtual Learning and Receiving Your Healing from my website www.miancawright.com or online at Amazon.
What makes you happy?
Maintaining a peaceful heart, mind, and spirit makes me happy. Serenely navigating challenging circumstances and emotions is essential; I didn’t grow up with the proper resources to help me express and understand my feelings, so conquering that battle is fulfilling. I get stuck and fall short sometimes, yet I get back up, start over, and keep going.
I love that I found the missing pieces of me. The capacity to rebuild mentally and put yourself back together is powerful. We all have what it takes to create a beautiful life for ourselves. Your world and life are whatever you make it. My happiest moments are sharing the good news with the world that you can recreate your story. A story that makes you happy and fulfilled. Helping and motivating others is my happy place, and I love it dearly!
