Today we’d like to introduce you to Michael Little.
Hi Michael, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
It’s almost as if I’ve known I wanted to be an artist even before I was able to actually know that’s what I wanted, as I started very young, drawing Naruto manga covers in grade school. After that, I was drawing pretty much anything that looked cool or hard to draw. It wasn’t until I was 18 when I decided to fully dive into the art world, and 19 when I landed my first showcase. Since then, I’ve done an episode on a podcast on Original Characters, Wayward OC, and currently working on a UK comic, Battleground K, and my own webcomic, 5.2.6
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I can’t say the road I’m on has been smooth. Often times I’m met with challenges, life and otherwise. Early on I remember struggling with self-doubt and comparison in my work, especially since my oldest brother is an artist, too. Him being the genuine person he is, always would remind me not to think like that. I think it’s etched in my brain now.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I mainly specialize in 2D character design, animation, and storyboarding. I’m known for my style, my love for anime, and my Original Characters from my webcomic. I’m most proud of the progress I’ve made, and the talented people I’ve met along the way. What sets me apart from others is my goal and my ability to be etched in history, to help humanity.
