Daily Inspiration: Meet Natalie Harrison

Today we’d like to introduce you to Natalie Harrison

Hi Natalie, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My name is Natalie Harrison an upcoming independent artist. I’m a native of Baton Rouge and have resided in Texas for the last two years.

I’ve been singing since childhood and often made up songs for fun. I always knew that singing was an outlet for me. From my creative imagination or telling a story of friend, I’ve used music to reach others.

I’ve had great success with self produced songs and videos but often times found myself being inconsistent. No matter how much I focused on other things music always pulled me back.

Since I found myself always coming back to music I committed myself to really giving my dream of being an artist 1000%. I have my own LLC Friendly Finishing Entertainment.

Dallas has shown me show much love and support. I’m meeting some amazing people on this journey and can’t wait to see where it takes me.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Trying to get people to know you. The world has so much talent and it’s hard trying to convince everyone you’re that special thing. My confidence was knocked a little when making it to the final audition round of American Idol but did not advanced to the television show.

I have a unique sound sound which is not your traditional R&B but I have to keep striving to grab new followers.

Like any other dream investing in yourself without see an immediate return can take a toll.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
My current single “Ghosting You” is making great waves! It’s a true story that talks about sometime you need to ghost people for your sanity, self love and self respect..

What makes you happy?
Besides singing, I love traveling. Just seeing the world meeting people and learning about other cultures is so inspiring.

I’m a family person and love spending time with them.
