Today we’d like to introduce you to Natalie Stiles.
Hi Natalie, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Hi! I was born and raised in Dallas, Texas and had a wonderful childhood and family and then in a nutshell… over achievement, college, over achievement, career, over achievement, burn-out, child, postpartum depression and then finally…psychosis. Curt (my husband) quit his job to take care of Claire (our wonderful daughter) and me and then the debt came on like an avalanche.
After nearly a year of being taken care of, seeing a psychiatrist, figuring out the right combination of meds, seeing a therapist, and several spiritual healers, my feet felt like they were finally back on the ground.
And after lots of reflection and a VERY random opportunity to produce a 30-minute reality show (I was a film producer) on healing modalities called Wheelin’ and Healin’! I fell in love with crystal healing, instantly.
Fast forward, I am a certified crystal healer and doing what I love most, to educate and help people learn new ways of life and to teach them tools to use during struggles. Also, I love using my creativity for my items in my Etsy shop!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Nothing has been easy to say the least. Right now, I feel as though one of the most powerful lessons I have learned is that mental illness should never be taken lightly and we all probably have one, haha. Also, your self-esteem is extremely important. And maybe the biggest one of all, shifting my outlook on money. That one has been a doozy but at the end of the day, it’s all energy exchange.
In terms of challenges, learning that most people seem to run from a place of ego rather than higher-purpose has been pretty eye-opening. But it doesn’t bother me because we all run from that place in our lifetimes and I love the lessons and challenge of navigating relationships. Everyone has so much to offer!
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a certified crystal healer and I think what sets me apart from other light healers is probably simply the fact that I do it my way. It’s hard for me to explain how it’s different from others because every healer does it their way! However, right now I am working from my house and only offering these services to fam and friends. I hope to expand soon!
I also offer a Tarot Birth Card reading. This service is very different from most tarot readers because the reading I hand over to you is fixed as opposed to what is happening at the moment. Think Zodiac sign, but this is your Tarot sign, and it’s the same your whole life and it helps you navigate your way through life to say the very least! These readings will blow your mind and have changed my whole outlook.
The Tarot calls out to me because it’s all about archetypes and storytelling which was my main passion when I was producing films. Storytelling is a sacred art for me.
And of course, I have items in my Etsy shop that include crystal necklaces, beeswax candles, miniature witchy items, spell bottles, and much more! This is my creative outlook.
Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
Yes. I won the beer Olympics in college. The fraternities allowed me to make an all girls team and WE WON!
