Hi Nikita, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Amari Head Spa is the first and only dedicated luxury holistic head spa in Dallas. What began as an idea between two friends in January 2024 quickly grew from a dream into a reality.
Our vision was to bridge the gap between the most enjoyable part of a salon visit—the relaxing scalp massage and feeling of freshly washed hair—and true scalp health through education and intentional care. We wanted to create a space where clients could not only unwind, but also understand how to achieve their long-term hair and scalp goals.
We welcomed our first clients in December 2024, and since then, we’ve had the privilege of serving more than 4,000 happy guests while helping introduce this emerging category of wellness to the Dallas community.
From the beginning, every detail has been intentional. Our space was designed by AD100 architecture firm Charlap Hyman & Herrero, and we’ve developed our own proprietary methods, treatment protocols, and educational programs to deliver a truly elevated experience. We’ve also been proud to create meaningful career opportunities for young professionals entering the beauty and wellness industry, as well as for women and single mothers looking to build fulfilling careers.
At our core, Amari exists to provide more than a service—we offer a restorative experience centered around scalp health, relaxation, and overall well-being. I truly believe the client experience at Amari is unmatched in its attention to detail, care, and intention. Every element has been thoughtfully designed so that each guest leaves feeling lighter, refreshed, deeply relaxed, and with a sense of clarity that comes from allowing both the mind and body to fully unwind.
We are incredibly grateful to be part of the Highland Park community and are excited about what the future holds as we continue to grow, educate, and redefine what scalp wellness can look like.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Our 18 month journey has proven what all new businesses know – there will definitely be issues, what matters is how and how fast you deal with them. We had problems with construction, delays in permitting, delays opening. We’ve even had issues with copycats. Luckily we haven’t had anything too crazy happen but we have learned A LOT and improved every step of the way. We are blessed to have an amazing staff, full of talented, creative, and unique individuals. The support we give each other helps us tackle any obstacle, even if it’s group lifting the laundry to the basket! We have a lot to learn but a lot to look forward to – and so does Dallas. We are also trademarked now!!

At Amari Head Spa, our mission is simple: to elevate scalp care into a true wellness experience. We believe healthy hair begins with a healthy scalp, but just as importantly, we believe that taking time to slow down and care for yourself is essential to overall well-being.
We specialize in luxury holistic head spa treatments that combine advanced scalp analysis, targeted scalp care, therapeutic massage, and sensory relaxation in a private, beautifully designed environment. Every service begins with a personalized scalp consultation, allowing us to educate our clients about their scalp health while tailoring each treatment to their individual needs. One of the things we’re most proud of is that we’ve built something entirely our own. We’ve developed our own treatment methods, service standards, and educational programs while helping introduce an entirely new category of wellness to Dallas. Beyond serving our clients, we’ve also created meaningful career opportunities for young professionals, women, and single mothers, giving our team the ability to grow within an innovative and supportive environment.
Above all, we hope people see Amari as more than a spa. We want it to be a place where people can disconnect from the demands of everyday life, reconnect with themselves, and experience the powerful connection between self-care, scalp health, and overall wellness. Our goal has never been to simply offer another beauty service—we’re building a brand that is redefining what luxury wellness looks like, one guest at a time.
Any big plans?
We’re incredibly excited about what the future holds for Amari. Since opening our doors, we’ve been humbled by the support from our community and are energized by the opportunity to continue growing.
In the near future, our goal is to open a second Amari Head Spa location so we can bring our approach to scalp wellness and holistic self-care to even more people. As demand continues to grow, we’re committed to expanding thoughtfully while maintaining the same level of quality, intention, and personalized care that defines every Amari experience.
We’re also looking forward to expanding our wellness offerings beyond head spa services by introducing additional holistic and longevity-focused practices. Our vision has always been bigger than scalp care alone—we want Amari to become a destination where people can invest in their long-term health, relaxation, and overall well-being through thoughtfully curated experiences rooted in both science and holistic wellness.

- Love Yourself – our signature service – 75 mins $195 for a microscope scalp consultation, custom apothecary treatment, and everything else in the Like Yourself
- Like Yourself – our most popular service – 45 mins $145 a light exfoliation, double cleanse and deep condition along with our signature scalp, neck, and shoulder massage
- Mind Melt – our most luxurious service – 120 mins $335 for everything in the Love Yourself plus a mini facial, shirodhara, and extra massage time
- Refresh Yourself – our express service – 30 mins $115 – just a wash and massage
- Mental Rejuvenation – 30 mins $115 – a scalp neck and shoulder massage, with Hui Hui scalp oil – NO WATER/RINSE
