Daily Inspiration: Meet Rafael De Loa

Today we’d like to introduce you to Rafael De Loa.

Rafael De Loa

Rafael, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I’m a Mexican inmigrante, came to USA at age of 14, I have work in kitchen business since 1980, dishwasher, pot washer, laundry, construction and many more different jobs, know as a chef I work in many different places as a chef at Dallas Petroleum club for 20 years and many other places with masters chefs during my cooking career

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Diferent of speaking language, thought Master chef from around the world, competitions, lost of 2 dougters, divorce, health, money problems was holding me to grow as a business and many other personal problems.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
What thing that I’m proud of me, known how to create recipes of my own way of cooking to make my customers happy by enjoy the food I make and enjoying my job as a chef

Who else deserves credit in your story?
During time building my Carrier I knew people that show me thigs, ways of cooking but in this business there is lots of selfish people that don’t want to teach or show cooking pathways so that make me become creative of my own way of cooking, but now I have friends that had helped me in the past and helping me know to work in my new restaurant project, that is people that don’t have nothing to do with food business
