Hi Renee, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start, maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers.
I’m Renee Mineor, but as designer, I am M. Renee, the creator and visionary behind Sha’duction Eyewear. You might think it’s a cliche, but I swear it’s true: I got the idea from a dream! One night, I woke up with a vision of turning bras into sunglasses. I was so excited that I ran to my lingerie drawer and grabbed a bra to see how it would look on my face. I thought to myself: why not make sunglasses that are as elegant and sexy as bras? Why not create a new fashion statement to let women express their femininity and confidence in the daytime as well as the nighttime? That’s how Sha’duction Eyewear was born: a unique and daring brand that stunningly combines lingerie and eyewear.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I have faced personal challenges in balancing care for my disabled child and aging parent while pursuing an undergraduate degree and a master’s in business. As an entrepreneur, I have encountered obstacles such as difficulty in identifying trustworthy individuals, researching proper materials, locating suitable manufacturers, and safeguarding my brand.

Eyewear Designer
Sha’duction Eyewear are uniquely shaped and laced, making each pair different.
The patented designs of Sha’duction give the feeling of wearing beautiful intimate apparel on the outside; by combining the shape, laced material, and the seductive feel of lingerie into shades/eyewear.
Sha’duction eyewear is constructed using high-quality cellulose acetate, a material favored for its durable qualities.
Lenses are Polarized Nylon. – Stainless steel silver, rose gold, or gold
What would you say has been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
Through this journey, I have learned with determination, dedication, and Godly patience; dreams do come true.
