Daily Inspiration: Meet Rex Sanders

Today we’d like to introduce you to Rex Sanders

Hi Rex, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started as a passionate individual with a deep-rooted love for storytelling and journalism. My journey began as the president of the Journalism Club at DeSoto HS, where I honed my skills in writing and reporting. This experience fueled my desire to pursue a career in media.

During my time at the University of North Texas, I furthered my passion for media by writing for the school newspaper and hosting a radio show. These experiences provided me with valuable hands-on experience and the confidence to step into the world of podcasting and radio.

With a vision to create a platform that celebrates diverse voices and compelling stories, The HangOut Network was born.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Navigating this journey towards success has been a bumpy road and still is. Along the way, I often encounter numerous challenges that test m,y resilience and determination.

A lot of Self-Doubt, Doubts about my abilities and worth.
A lot of Competition, Competition is fierce, and standing out from the crowd is a difficult task.
A lot of fear of Failure. Although failure is an inevitable part of any journey towards success. It is essential to learn from failures, adapt, and persevere in the face of setbacks.
A lot of Uncertainty, it’s often uncertain, and navigating ambiguity requires a combination of strategic thinking, flexibility, and a willingness to embrace change.

However, I view these obstacles as opportunities for growth and learning.
