Growing up as a Phoenician in the States, my heart always yearned for a connection with my roots. At 17, I found my way back to Beirut, the city where I not only reconnected with my heritage but also discovered my passion for creativity and innovation. It was there that SANIIA was born, a creative marketing agency named in homage to my radiant grandmother.
Our team at SANIIA excels in brand storytelling, digital strategy, content creation, and web design. But our essence goes beyond the services we offer. While our operations began in Beirut, our reach now extends to Dubai, Dallas, and Brooklyn. This geographical spread has enriched our perspective and allowed us to cater to a wide array of clients. From burgeoning start-ups to seasoned industry leaders, our diverse clientele spans numerous sectors. They come to us with unique visions and leave with tailored solutions that propel their brands forward. No matter the industry or challenge, our mission remains the same: to ensure every client thrives under the SANIIA banner.
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Ah, the road to building SANIIA! Smooth is hardly the term I’d use. Like any venture, especially one that bridges continents and cultures, we’ve had our share of bumps and detours.
Initially, navigating the nuances of different markets was a challenge. Dubai’s fast-paced, glittering corporate world was a far cry from the soulful and historic rhythm of Beirut, and then integrating the robust, entrepreneurial energies of Dallas and the eclectic vibrancy of Brooklyn… let’s just say it was a masterclass in adaptability.
Another struggle was scaling our operations while maintaining the essence of SANIIA. I wanted to ensure that as we grew, every client, whether from a bustling metropolis or a serene coastal town, felt the warmth and dedication that defined our brand.
Then, there was the challenge of curating a global team that resonated with our ethos. Finding the right talent who could harmonize our global outlook with local sensibilities took time and patience.
However, every challenge, every late night, and every brainstorming session gone awry has only deepened our resolve. The struggles have been the chisel to our statue, refining and defining who we are today. Would I wish for a smoother road? Perhaps. But then, it might not have led to the vibrant, resilient, and ever-evolving SANIIA we’ve become.

Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
In the next 5-10 years, I anticipate the marketing industry gravitating towards more personalized and data-driven campaigns. With advancements in AI and machine learning, customization will be paramount. Additionally, with the rise of virtual realities and augmented experiences, immersive branding will become the norm. Sustainability and ethical practices will also play a pivotal role, as brands align more with global concerns and consumer values.
