Today we’d like to introduce you to Seth Swinford
Hi Seth, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I moved in this current space with my very best friend of over 7 years, we both had separate and collective visions of chasing our dreams and eventually create our own incomes as opposed to the 9-5 lifestyle. I started pursuing my passion of interior design and being a content creator around October 7th 2024. I worked on defining my craft and niche so much that i ended up producing a viral video on Instagram with 1.3million views and rising. Ive found my target audience of art and colorful decor lovers online and i couldn’t be more grateful. I recently hit 10K followers on Instagram @swizzy.design! I try to remain genuine as possible in my efforts to help people curate a unique home they can feel original and proud in.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Opposite of smooth sailing id have to say. My environment before this was just awful. I hit all the lows i could in 2023-2024. I saw a vision of myself curating a life and new living space i could not only be proud of, but formulate a stream of income using my self taught knowledge of visuals and social media strategy/marketing. Its very hard online to get started much less grow. I was working for free with any brands i could get my hands on for about 5 months before i received any traction.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
Many things go into what I do as a full time content creator now! I specialize in Interior design and decorating. Im a self taught social media manager that helps with brand curation, profile optimization content strategies and more. Above all I help people step into their most creative self to curate a 1 of 1 aesthetic their soul can feel happy with.
Any big plans?
I see myself winning a design award in the future. I plan on making my own brand along with my best friend. He is a fashion designer, so he designs a lot of our clothes while i design interior. Our styles are never clashing but rather always elevating each others original ideas, its quite harmonic. My goal for the year was to reach 10k followers but maybe i will make it 30k since I’ve reached my goal and its only February.
