Today we’d like to introduce you to Sierra Woods.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I got started when my previous roommate was very overwhelmed with her DIY wedding. I have always been super organized so I stepped in, and the rest is history!

That said, I wouldn’t be where I am without God’s help. Within the last year and a half, my business has grown so much that I have brought on 5 people the last 6 months alone.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Honestly, the DFW area is challenging for the wedding industry. Everyone thinks they can be a wedding planner, but in reality it takes years of experience and people skills to be able to take care of something as intricate as a wedding.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I work in weddings and event planning! Specifically full-service weddings. The sooner I can be involved, the better!

Most proud of, that’s a hard one. The growth of the business is the easy answer! God has helped give me direction and growth more than I could have dreamed!

If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
Communication and Detail-Orientation.

Pricing:

  • 2000 – Full Service (Newly engaged, no direction in mind)
  • 950 – Partial Planning (Have vendors picked but need monthly checkups)
  • 450 – Month Of Coordination (Everything is ready but need someone to oversee the day)
