Today we’d like to introduce you to Sierrah Garcia
Hi Sierrah, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I grew up in the industry – my dad toured all over the US and Canada when I was little and so I was surrounded by it.
My love for it began early and my faith also began to develop.
When I put my love for music hand in hand with my love for Jesus, a vision was ignited and I’ve been working on it ever since!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It’s been difficult to get out of my comfort zone, for sure.
I’m an introvert and so being in the studio is pretty easy – live music is harder!
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
My primary “job” is leading worship. But I don’t really consider that a part of my work – it’s just my favorite thing to do!
On my own, I write music and record. It’s been so much fun to finally do something I’ve been passionate about my whole life.
We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
Oh gosh.
I don’t know how to pick one thing!
I had the best childhood…
Just completely surrounded by love and support.
I guess I would say, my fondest memories are times spent laughing with my family. And eating lots of good food!
