Today we’d like to introduce you to Sir Charles Miles-Frost.
Hi Sir Charles , so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My story starts in a small town in East Texas called Commerce, where I went to college. When I was younger I always enjoyed taking photos of people but not of myself. When the pandemic hit in 2020, and everyone had to stay home I decided to take a risk and buy my first camera, a canon T7i. From there, I did a free photoshoot with my frat brother, took pictures of everything I could and was on YouTube constantly learning. Then in 2021, I registered my business as an LLC with the name SIRtified. Fast forward to 2025, we have shot over 200 clients and have been on the shaderoom, watchtheyard and more.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No the road wasn’t smooth at all. I have almost went bankrupt, broken equipment without a clear alternative, times I didn’t know how the studio rent would get paid and more but we are still standing. I takes a bit of determination and effort because anything worth having isn’t easy to obtain.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Of course. I run a creative and professional driven photography named Get SIRtified Photography and Editing where our motto is “shooters shoot but when we shoot we don’t miss.” We specialize in bringing our clients thoughts from ideas to reality through creative ways of lighting, staging and photoshop work. We have done all forms of photography from graduation to weddings to maternity and have excelled in all. We are known for bringing a creative outlook to photography whether it’s creating an iron man styled HUD or adding doppelgängers in a photo. We are also known for our professional work in events and conferences. I am most proud of the fact that we are still able to run our business and book shoots as most businesses fail within 5 years of starting. I am also proud that we are continuing to evolve, we are planning to roll out some new business plans within the next year that we believe will be super beneficial to the company. What sets us apart for other photography companies is our creative approach and keen attention to detail. We thrive when someone comes to us and asks “Do you think you can do this”.
Do you have recommendations for books, apps, blogs, etc?
A good podcast I love to watch is the social proof podcast. Outside of my photography I am in the finance and accounting field and I love to see how business work inside and out. A book I read recently was “The mountain is you: Transforming self sabotage in to Self mastery”. A book that helps getting over insecurities and self doubt. Other resources I use are my family and fraternity brothers, Being able to have someone to bounce ideas off of with an unbiased approach is super valuable.
