Today we’d like to introduce you to Stuart Taylor.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
i started taking photographs in germany in 1979 where i photographed bands like led zeppelin, black sabbath, van halen, etc. i moved to texas in 1980 and met the pantera guys at bowie high school and continued photographing bands. i worked for any magazine or fanzine that would use my photographs. i worked on my school newspaper in grand prairie. my big break was working for metal forces magazine in england from 1988-1993. i started terrorizer magazine in england in 1994. i have had my photographs in books, magazines, ads, documentaries all over the world. is this enough as i could write a book?

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
no. my parents thru me out at 18 so being homeless was not helping and then my involvement with drugs did not help either. thank god that is way behind me.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
