Daily Inspiration: Meet Tasia Pope

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tasia Pope.

Hi Tasia , we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Honestly, my story didn’t start from a place of perfection it started from pain, purpose, and process. I Was Made 4 Dis wasn’t just a brand idea; it was a divine reminder during one of the lowest seasons of my life. I had to unlearn survival and relearn purpose. What looked like loss was really God breaking me to build me to show me that what He placed inside of me wasn’t accidental, it was intentional.

“DATRUTH” came from that same journey. I got tired of hiding behind titles, fear, and people’s opinions. I decided that my transparency was my ministry. So I started speaking, writing, and creating spaces where people could heal, laugh, and remember who they are in God. I’ve worn many hats teacher, case manager, entrepreneur, motivator but every role has carried the same heartbeat: to remind people that they were made for this.

Now, I Was Made 4 Dis LLC is more than a business it’s a movement. It’s for every person who’s ever questioned their worth, battled their past, or felt unseen. I’m just walking proof that when you stop running from your calling and start embracing your assignment, purpose will always make room for you.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Smooth? Not even close. But necessary absolutely. Every part of my journey came with pressure, pruning, and purpose. There were seasons I felt overlooked, underqualified, and overwhelmed. I’ve had doors close that I thought were “the one,” people I poured into walk away, and moments where I questioned if I even heard God right.

Building I Was Made 4 Dis and stepping into my voice as DATRUTH meant confronting my own brokenness. I had to heal while still showing up for others that’s not easy. I battled fear, finances, and self-doubt. I had to learn that favor doesn’t exempt you from the fight; it equips you for it.

But truthfully, those hard seasons taught me the discipline, humility, and faith I needed to sustain what I was praying for. The road wasn’t smooth, but it was sacred. God used every detour to develop my character. Now, I don’t just talk purpose I’ve lived it, through the storms, setbacks, and silent seasons. That’s why the message hits different: because it’s not theory, it’s testimony.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m a storyteller but not just with words, with truth. Through DATRUTH and I Was Made 4 Dis LLC, I create spaces, content, and conversations that remind people who they are and why they were made. I’m not just talking motivation; I’m walking transformation. Whether I’m speaking on a stage, teaching in a classroom, or designing for the brand, my mission stays the same to ignite purpose and empower voices.

I specialize in merging faith with real-life that raw place where purpose meets pain, and people remember they’re chosen even when life didn’t go as planned. My messages, events, and coaching don’t sugarcoat the process. They speak to the overlooked, the healing, the ones who’ve been through fire but still got purpose in their lungs.

What I’m most proud of is the impact watching people light back up, hearing testimonies from those who say “I almost gave up until I heard your message.” That’s what fuels me. I Was Made 4 Dis isn’t just my brand it’s a declaration.

What sets me apart? Authenticity. I don’t perform purpose; I live it. My story, my scars, and my faith all bleed into my work. I’m not afraid to bring God into the conversation and I’m not afraid to speak truth to the culture. I move with both grace and grit because I believe when you live in truth, everything attached to you has to rise.

What matters most to you?
What matters most to me is purpose. Not just chasing success, but becoming who God created me to be fully, boldly, and unapologetically. I’ve learned that peace doesn’t come from popularity, it comes from alignment. I can lose followers, friends, or opportunities, but I never want to lose my assignment.

I care about impact over image. I want everything I touch whether it’s I Was Made 4 Dis, DATRUTH, or just a conversation in passing to remind somebody that they’re seen, they’re called, and they still have time to rise. Purpose is my “why” because I know what it feels like to live without it to smile in public but battle in private, to question if your pain had meaning.

Now I move different. I live to please God, not people. I live to break cycles, to heal what hurt me, and to light up the next generation with hope. That’s what matters most walking in purpose and leaving a legacy that screams, “God did it, and you were made for this too.”
