Daily Inspiration: Meet Tommy Adetunji

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tommy Adetunji.

Hi Tommy, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
OneImpulse started from my own experience. I recognized the power of clothing as a universal language and wanted to create something that inspires inclusivity and embraces diverse cultures through art. That idea eventually grew into OneImpulse.

The journey hasn’t been easy, but it’s been exciting. Every step forward, every collection, every idea reminds me why I started. I’m building something people can feel and connect with in their own way.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It hasn’t been a smooth road. Managing everything that comes with building a brand, design, production, timelines, and constant learning has had its challenges. There were delays, setbacks and moments where things didn’t go as planned. But every challenge pushed growth and helped refine both me and the brand. It’s all part of the journey.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I work in infrastructure and cloud engineering, focusing on automation and building reliable systems. I’m known for simplifying complex processes and turning them into streamlined solutions.

What sets me apart is my creativity and steady problem-solving. That ability to simplify is where it shows up the most in my creative work and brand.

Do you have recommendations for books, apps, blogs, etc?
I use different resources to stay grounded and keep growing. I enjoy Chris Do’s podcast because it gives honest, practical perspectives on creativity and work. I recently started The Gifts of Imperfection and it’s been a meaningful read. Anything that helps me understand myself better and improve how I show up, always finds its way into my routine.
