Today we’d like to introduce you to Permanent Makeup (PMU) Artist Jurgita Janus – a highly skilled and experienced beauty professional, specializing in eyebrows: from delicate eyebrow tinting and shaping to a complete eyebrow (re)construction with various PMU techniques. She shared her story with us below:
Like many women around the globe, I would spend a considerable amount of time every morning trying to draw my perfect eyebrow shape. I felt empathy towards women like me – with formerly over-plucked brows or ones that lost eyebrow fullness due to hormonal imbalance, medical treatments, or alopecia. The turning point was when I discovered Microblading – a type of Permanent makeup which mimics the look of individual eyebrow hairs. With this knowledge, I took the opportunity to finally get rid of my struggles every morning and had my eyebrows done by a Microblading artist.
Fascinated by the result and convenience of long-lasting, waterproof, smudge-proof, and perfectly shaped eyebrows, I decided to study this eyebrow artistry. I was willing to make life more comfortable for all my friends, family members, and many other women in my home country Lithuania.
I started my beauty career with a rigorous training at the International Beauty Academy PhiAcademy, where I mastered the art of Microblading and developed deep knowledge, as well as great sense of eyebrow importance to human face. After the training, I was overwhelmed by the growing demand for Microblading in my country. I established my Permanent Makeup business BEAUTEL, making sure to pay the greatest attention to my clients’ facial features, so each of them could have the most beautiful tailor-made eyebrows. Having obtained a rapidly growing loyal clientele, I became a successful and well-known eyebrow artist in my country.
Simultaneously, I was eager to grow and excel in my career by perfecting my skills with the world-renowned Permanent Makeup masters. I became a highly certified Permanent Makeup Artist and later – a PMU Judge. To this day, I continue my participation within the global Permanent Makeup community, acquiring knowledge of novelties within the eyebrow beauty niche.
Due to my husband’s job transfer, I have recently relocated with my family (my husband, two daughters, and a miniature poodle) to Dallas Fort-Worth. I am sure to continue my professional path here in the United States and have opened my BEAUTEL studio doors to everyone within the Metroplex.
Specializing solely in eyebrows, I have mastered all the Permanent Makeup techniques currently available in the industry (Microblading, Nano Brows, Microshading, Powder Brows, Combo Brows, etc.). This is why I have a taylor-made approach to each client individually, offering the best solution based on the client’s skin type, current eyebrow situation, and, of course, expectations. The most important task is to (re)create natural-looking and beautifully shaped eyebrows that best compliment the client’s unique facial features. Applying my knowledge of eyebrow artistry, I aim to make women even more beautiful, refreshed, and self-confident. This is my biggest passion.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
After relocating to DFW from Europe, I was faced with challenges regarding the start of my new business in the United States. I not only had to find a new place for my salon but also to figure out all TX requirements for establishing a new business within the state (LLC registration, licensing, insurance, zoning, etc.). Additionally, I had to build my clientele from scratch and establish my name within the DFW Beauty community. Nevertheless, with an abundance of determination and passion, I was able to overcome many challenges and now continue my eyebrow beauty career here in DFW.

I specialize solely in eyebrows: from delicate eyebrow tinting and shaping to complete eyebrow reconstructions with various PMU techniques.
In my work, I incorporate an advanced eyebrow mapping method based on the Golden Ratio 1.618, which is perceived as the most beautiful proportion in nature and human faces. And I always take as much time as needed to determine the most suitable eyebrow shape for each client individually.

You have to be driven by the idea of serving people and not by money. If you make your client at least a little bit happier than he/she was before coming to you – success will always follow!
