Dr. Jake Schumann of Prosper, TX on Life, Lessons & Legacy

We’re looking forward to introducing you to Dr. Jake Schumann. Check out our conversation below.

Hi Jake, thank you for taking the time to reflect back on your journey with us. I think our readers are in for a real treat. There is so much we can all learn from each other and so thank you again for opening up with us. Let’s get into it: What are you most proud of building — that nobody sees?
As a man — the discipline to respond with self-control when life pushes me, not just act polished when things are easy.

As a founder — the systems, culture, and trust that let people heal and thrive in ways they may never know took years of sweat, prayer, and refinement behind the scenes.

As a husband and father — the quiet investments of presence, protection, and vision that my wife and kids might not fully grasp now, but will one day stand on as their foundation.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m Dr. Jake Schumann — a husband, father, and founder who’s passionate about restoration on every level. I lead a wellness-based chiropractic and tissue regeneration clinic where our mission is simple: help people not just feel better, but actually heal. What makes our work unique is that we don’t just chase symptoms — we create care plans that guide people toward lasting restoration in their health and life.

Beyond the clinic, I love building leaders and encouraging other small business owners to step into clarity and confidence in their craft. My story is one of faith, resilience, and a deep conviction that the unseen work — character, systems, discipline — is what sustains visible results.

Right now, I’m working on expanding both the reach of our clinic and the impact of our consulting, helping others experience transformation they may have thought wasn’t possible – physical, spiritual & everything in between.

Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. What part of you has served its purpose and must now be released?
The part of me that has served its purpose and must now be released is the version of myself that always tried to carry everything alone.
Early on I thought strength meant doing it all, fixing it all, and proving I could hold the weight. That season built resilience, grit, and resourcefulness — but it’s no longer the way forward.

Now, strength looks like trust. Trusting God more fully. Trusting my team with ownership. Trusting my family with my heart. The old “lone wolf” version of me did its job — but it has to be released so I can step into the next level of leadership, intimacy, and impact.

What did suffering teach you that success never could?
• Suffering → Endurance
Hardship isn’t wasted—it trains us to keep going even when life is difficult.
• Endurance → Character
As we stay the course, our integrity, faith, and inner strength grow.
• Character → Hope
That refined character produces a hope that isn’t shaken by circumstances, because it’s rooted in something deeper than the moment.

👉 God uses even our struggles to shape us into people who can carry real hope.

I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
Loyalty
Grit
Hard work
Integrity

Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. When do you feel most at peace?
In Creation spending time with the Creator.
