Exploring Life & Business with Abdul Wahab Altailouni of 59 Shawarma & Juice

Today we’d like to introduce you to Abdul Wahab Altailouni.

Abdul, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
First, I praise to God always and forever, and I thank God for all the blessings I have received. I started thinking two years ago, and I tried in 2021 to start working on the project “food trailer,” but it was delayed due to the surgery I underwent, which is to remove the right kidney because of a cancerous mass that was discovered, but thank God after I recovered, I insist to fulfill my dream, which is to prepare delicious shawarma sandwiches. I do not deny that I faced a lot of troubles, and it almost cost me to delay the business or cancel. I am really thankful that my brother-in-law Muwafaq was the first supporter to help me begin my business, finally July 18, 2022, our family business started, and unbelievable our customers surprised us with their reviews that our Shawarmas is the best in DFW; also I would thank my love Arwa, my wife for encouraging me and help me in many details. And I cannot explain my feelings every single day when I see how my customers are extremely satisfied with the quality and taste of our sandwiches. It could be the beginning of our dream, but for me, it’s true success after many struggles that I faced.

We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
