Exploring Life & Business with Alyssa Lopez of Alyssa Lopez

Today we’d like to introduce you to Alyssa Lopez.

Alyssa, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Toward the end of 2024 is when I started to get into content creation. It was also the year I became a mom and learned to navigate a new routine, while still trying to find small moments for myself throughout the day. I started sharing my motherhood journey, and it quickly turned into a creative outlet that I genuinely loved.

I wanted this outlet to be a safe space for all types of moms, special needs moms, first-time moms. I realized there was a community of moms who related to all of my experiences too.

Once I got into a routine of posting and building a community, I slowly started connecting with brands. I’m still in the early stages of my journey, but I’m proud of how far I’ve come, from simply documenting my motherhood journey to building a space that feels authentic, helpful, and relatable for other moms.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It hasn’t been a completely smooth road. Balancing motherhood with content creation, especially with a toddler, can be challenging, and staying consistent while adjusting to a new routine wasn’t easy at first. I’ve also had to learn not to compare my journey to others and to build confidence in putting myself out there. But through it all, I’ve learned to give myself grace and stay focused on why I started.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
I’m a content creator who focuses on motherhood and everyday life. As a mom to a toddler, most of my content comes from real, day-to-day moments, my love for being creative, things that make life easier, and products I actually use and love. What really matters to me is being genuine. I don’t share anything that I wouldn’t truly use myself, and I think that’s helped me build trust with my audience. I also try to create a space that feels supportive and relatable for all moms, whether you’re a first-time mom or navigating something more unique. More than anything, I’m proud of the community I’m building. It feels less like “just content” and more like a space where moms can connect, feel understood, and know they’re not doing this alone.

We’d love to hear about how you think about risk taking?
I wouldn’t necessarily say I’m a big risk-taker, but starting content creation and putting myself out there, especially during such a vulnerable time in my life, felt like a risk in itself. Sharing parts of my life online, not knowing how it would be received, definitely pushed me out of my comfort zone. For me, risk isn’t always about doing something huge, it’s about showing up consistently, trying new things, and trusting that it will lead somewhere, even if you can’t see the outcome right away. Becoming a mom also shifted my perspective. It made me more willing to take chances on things that could create a better, more fulfilling life for both me and my family. I try to look at risk as growth. Even if something doesn’t work out, there’s always something to learn from it, and that’s what keeps me moving forward.
