Today we’d like to introduce you to Ana Espino.
Hi Ana, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My journey has been anything but easy, but it has shaped the professional I am today.
I studied a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition in Mexico, and right after graduating I started my own business. In the beginning, it was tough — I had no clients, no recognition, and very little income. I eventually decided to offer my work almost for free, just so people could see the results I was capable of delivering. And that changed everything. Clients started trusting me, my treatments proved successful, and I realized how much knowledge I had to share.
During that time, I also became a high school teacher, because teaching has always been a passion for me. But my business kept growing so quickly that I had to let go of teaching and focus completely on my practice.
A few years later, I got married and my husband and I decided to move to the United States, where his family lived. That transition was one of the hardest moments of my life — my husband didn’t have a stable job, I was pregnant, my residency was still in process, and I didn’t speak English. Leaving my entire life in Mexico and starting from zero in a new country was incredibly challenging.
For seven years I dedicated myself fully to being a mom, but I never stopped loving my profession. When my youngest daughter finally started school, I decided it was time to rebuild myself professionally. I went back to school, became a licensed esthetician, and I started working literally from my living room. No one knew me, no one trusted me yet, and starting over with young kids at home was extremely difficult.
But I kept studying. I earned my phlebotomy license, injector certification, and several advanced trainings. Little by little, people began to trust me, and my family supported me every step of the way. Even with my insecurity about the language, I refused to let that hold me back. I knew what I was capable of.
And today, I’m proud to be working in my own space, doing what I truly love. Helping women feel beautiful, confident, and empowered — watching their self-esteem transform — that is the most rewarding part of my work. My journey hasn’t been easy, but it has been full of growth, resilience, and purpose.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. My journey has been full of challenges, but each of them pushed me to grow.
One of the biggest struggles came when I moved from Mexico to the United States. I arrived pregnant, without speaking English, and my husband didn’t have a stable job. My residency was still in process, and I had to start my life completely from zero. It was emotionally and financially overwhelming.
Later, when I decided to return to my career after being a full-time mom for seven years, starting again was extremely difficult. I studied to become a licensed esthetician, but I began working from my living room with no clients, no reputation, and very little support outside my family. Many people didn’t trust me at first, and balancing school, kids, and the pressure to rebuild my career was exhausting.
Another challenge was overcoming the language barrier. Speaking English was one of my biggest insecurities, especially in a field where communication, trust, and professionalism are essential. But I kept studying, training, and earning certifications — phlebotomy, injections, advanced treatments — even when it felt overwhelming.
All those struggles shaped me. They taught me resilience, patience, and discipline. And today, looking back, I’m grateful, because every obstacle helped me become the professional I am now.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
My business is focused on results-driven aesthetics and wellness. I specialize in advanced skincare treatments, injectables, and scalp therapies that combine science, education, and a personalized approach. My goal is always to help clients feel confident, empowered, and naturally beautiful.
What I’m most known for is my attention to detail and my commitment to both safety and education. I don’t just perform a treatment — I make sure my clients understand their skin, their options, and how to maintain long-term results. With my background in Nutrition, Esthetics, Phlebotomy, and Injectables, I’m able to take a more holistic approach, looking at each client’s lifestyle, habits, skin health, and goals before creating a personalized plan.
What truly sets me apart is the combination of my medical-based knowledge with a very human, compassionate approach. I know what it feels like to start from zero, to rebuild, and to work hard for a dream — and that energy is reflected in the way I treat my clients. Every person who walks into my space is treated with care, respect, and a genuine desire to help them feel their best.
Brand-wise, I’m extremely proud of the trust my clients have in me. Many come to me after trying different treatments or feeling disappointed elsewhere, and seeing them regain confidence — not just in their skin, but in themselves — is the most rewarding part of what I do.
I want readers to know that my brand is built on integrity, education, continuous training, and real results. I offer advanced facials, injectables, microneedling, PRP therapies, hair-growth treatments, and customized skincare solutions and personalized nutrition plans. Everything I do is guided by science, passion, and a deep commitment to helping people feel beautiful inside and out.
My mission is simple: to provide high-quality aesthetic care that transforms not only skin, but confidence and self-worth.
How do you define success?
For me, success is not defined by numbers, titles, or how fast you grow. Success is the ability to look at your life and know that you built it with integrity, resilience, and purpose.
I see success in the small moments — when a client feels beautiful for the first time in years, when someone trusts me with their insecurities, or when my children see me working hard and understand that dreams are possible with effort and faith.
Success, to me, is being able to do what I love, serve others with honesty, and continue growing both personally and professionally. It’s overcoming fear, learning from challenges, and staying true to who you are.
If I can make a positive impact on someone’s confidence and wellbeing, and if I can show my kids that perseverance can change your life, then I consider that true success
