Hi Anisa, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
My footstep in the world of cosmetology started when I was only 17 years old. The need for beauty and make-up was limited in my culture and was only desired if girls/women were going to any party, wedding, or family events. As much as I enjoy learning about cosmetology, beauty, make-up, and modern fashion trends, my key focus has always been to create a best memory for my clients by making them look at their best.
I moved to United States in 2014 and decided to use my unique skillset and cultural experience to the cosmetology by doing Heena tattoo. I was always encouraged by my clients to get into cosmetology and pursue my long-awaited dream. In 2015, I started working for one of the reputed Salon and worked for 2 years. My work experience as hairstylist and beautician played a major role to qualify for Cosmetology State License in 2018. Since 2018, I am offering one-stop cosmetology and beauty/make-up services to DFW clients. My clients truly appreciate the comprehensive service offer, i.e., lash extensions, facial, body waxing, threading, make-up, hair styling. As a cosmologist, I care about my client’s need and always help them to bring a new look to their party.
The key to any business success is marketing but the driver of my business had always been the client and their words to others. I have been promoting my business through Instagram @beautyby.anisa and other social media platform. I strongly believe that I am in an industry where word of mouth and reference by clients plays a very critical role. My clients value my work and the quality of service I provide throughout the process. They have been the fuel of my success, and I wouldn’t successful without their support. My mission to make everyone feel confident about their look will continue. Today I am mother of two beautiful kids and wife of a loving husband who always support me to balance my responsibilities.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It is not easy to build a business from the ground. But my passion for cosmetology and drive for success pushed me day and night to overcome all the obstacles I faced along the way. First of all, being a mother of two kids and wife, it is very challenging to balance work and personal life. In my opinion, my clients come first as they put lot of trust on my work and truly rely on consistency in quality. Secondly, the completion in cosmetology industry is very high, and service differentiation is challenging as many people offer similar services. In my business, I brought culture and beauty to create a memory for my clients. If my client asks about my opinion, I like to share my honest opinion and help them to see themselves outside the same old make-up or hairstyle they are used to. I believe honest communication, quality of service, full disclosure of the product and process I follow gives my clients a great level of confidence and help me to differentiate my service.

My business focus on offering comprehensive cosmetology services that includes lash extensions, facial, body waxing, threading, make-up, hair styling. There are few things that help me to differentiate my services from others, i.e., quality of service, price, communication, and the quality product used during the process. Clients demand consistency in quality and services. I put my client at first and focus on delivering the best service they deserve. My work leaves a long-lasting memory for my clients, and I am proud to be part of their best memory.
