Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Our brand, Motiv Unlimited, started in March 2020. My husband and I were always busy and on the go with our 9-5s, clients, and daily workouts. After a few months, we noticed that we were not able to find apparel to fit our busy lifestyle as we were having to replace a lot of our athleisure clothing after a few uses. We were sitting in a cafe one day talking and we thought, if we are experiencing this issue, we are sure there are other people out there with a busy lifestyle who are experiencing the same when it comes to performance-driven clothing for the everyday lifestyle and that is how our brand started. Motiv Unlimited is more than just athleisure wear, through our brand we feel the urgency to become a part of the solution when it comes to not only creating innovative products of high performance and leisure comfortability but also promoting health, wellness, and fitness within our community. We feel like just with everything else in life health, wellness and fitness are a continuous journey. Our mission is to inspire our community to continue to thrive towards that journey through ambition, resiliency, and empowerment through our brand and products.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
As new business owners, we are constantly facing new challenges, we can honestly say that in such a short amount of time we have learned so much about not only the clothing industry but with business in general. One of the biggest pieces of advice we would give to new business owners or aspiring business owners is to research, research, research. We know this is not the most attractive part of starting a business, however, it has literally saved us so much time and money when it comes to laying the foundation of our business. Continue to educate and become an expert in the industry that you would like to start a business.

Motiv Unlimited is an athleisure brand. What sets us apart from others is that we specialize in bridging the gap between high performance and leisure comfortability, while also promoting health, wellness, and fitness within our community. As a safe space for the everyday athlete, our brand is for those who understand the unlimited hustle and grind, the go-getters. For those that go hard on leg day, run a few errands on Tuesday but also want to just chill on a Saturday. Those who believe that there are no limits when it comes to a healthy active lifestyle. Our official launch date was June 25, 2021, we have been excited about the amount of support we have received after being in business for under a year. It is truly inspiring to create a brand, put it into the universe and receive so much positive feedback and support in return. We are also excited about our upcoming Spring 22′ campaign dropping in late April.

As our business continues to grow, we are wanting to build a small team and truly find our tribe of people who are just as passionate about entrepreneurship and growing as we are.
