Today we’d like to introduce you to Arneil Brooks.
Hi Arneil, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I got my first role at my first audition ever, as “Dump St. Clair” in the premiere film Ruthless Atonement. My friend Kris D’sha an award winning actress, helped me get connected to my current mentor Cory Espie, another award winning actor and coach. From there I was trained and have been put into positions to grow in the acting industry. With hard work, dedication, and consistent drive, I landed several other roles and im currently being featured as the lead actor in three premiere films.
Dev The Actor is a versatile actor and remains strong in his ability to adapt to any complex roles in film or theater. Im funny, im an athlete, a coach, im serious about my profession, and will make any film or project elevate. I am one of the creators of The Newwave acting/actress group in Dallas.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It has been a slow grind. Yet meaningful with challenges coming from not getting or having years of training like most people, proper headshots early on, not knowing the ins and outs, finances, not having transportation to projects, etc. made it hard and still has its challenges with time and family.

I have a non profit called Projectlyf3 Plus Inc. What is ProjectLyf3 Plus Inc.? ProjectLyf3 Plus Inc. is a 501 c (3) certified Non-profit. A multi-invested program, built to reach our youth and their families in areas of concern. The areas we will provide resources in are financial literacy, college readiness, mentor ship, state assistance programs, counseling services; help with job placement, educational tutoring, relationship building, and more. ProjectLyf3 Plus Inc. will be successful because we have strong leadership, we are in the schools and communities, and we will always put family first.
Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
Growing up I was quiet, charming, nice, funny, social butterfly, everyone’s favorite, super talented, outgoing, smart, fun to be around. A thinker, creative writer, dancer, and musician.
