Exploring Life & Business with Baha Savage of Sauvage Real Estate

Today we’d like to introduce you to Baha Savage. Them and their team share their story with us below:

As someone who has faced many challenges and obstacles in life, I know first-hand that nothing ever comes easy. From overcoming a difficult and abusive marriage, to building a successful career in a male-dominated field, I have had to work hard and fight for everything I have achieved. But despite the challenges, I have never given up on my dreams and goals. Instead, I have used my experiences to drive me forward and inspire others to do the same. My journey is a testament to the fact that with persistence and determination, anything is possible.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I have a powerful story of adversity and triumph that I am proud to share. After spending four years in an abusive and arranged marriage, I made the difficult decision to leave my son with my mother-in-law in Palestine and move to the United States to build a better future for the both of us. When I arrived in the States at the age of 18, I wasted no time starting my real estate career. I began as an assistant to an elite investor and quickly transitioned into commercial and luxury real estate. In my first year as a licensed agent, I closed $7 million in transactions, and in my second year, I closed $11 million.

Although I ultimately found success in Real Estate, the beginning of my journey was less than smooth. As a young Muslim Palestinian – American woman, at the start of my career I found myself in many positions where I constantly felt undermined, patronized, and sometimes completely disregarded on a professional level by my male colleagues. This forced me to elevate my work ethic and become an expert in my field. After countless months studying to become an expert in all the nuances in real estate, how to buy/sell a house, and how to invest like a professional, I decided to take my knowledge and share it with my community. My mission was to use my platform to educate people on all things Real Estate. I optimized my social media skills and started educating people.

Through a range of strategies and techniques, I made content covering the various avenues for obtaining homes or investment properties. One such strategy is Syndication, which involves the facilitation of group investment partnerships and access to larger investment opportunities through collective ownership and operation. Additionally, I specialize in EB-5 visa consulting, providing support in locating EB-5 projects for international investors seeking permanent residency in the United States. Another area of expertise is the 1031 Exchange, a tax-deferral strategy that enables real estate investors to maximize returns and defer capital gains tax indefinitely. I also offer guidance in new construction, working with clients to find, negotiate, and secure homes that meet their specific needs and budget constraints. My commitment to providing quality and up-to-date real estate information is evident in the extensive range of topics I regularly cover in my educational content.

We’ve been impressed with Sauvage Real Estate PLLC, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Being a reliable source of information for my community and having a constant track record of successful transactions for my clients solidified my position as a leader in the industry. But more importantly, I established a credible reputation where I am known to take my work seriously and give my clients 100%.

As a real estate agent, my commitment to caring for my clients sets me apart. I place the needs and interests of my clients above all else and strive to provide a personalized and attentive experience throughout the buying or selling process. Whether it’s providing expert advice, answering questions, or going the extra mile to ensure a smooth transaction, I am dedicated to making sure my clients feel supported and satisfied. This approach has resulted in long-lasting relationships and a reputation for exceptional service in the real estate community. And I am always looking to grow my network and work with talented individuals so if you work in this industry lets connect! When asked what my motivation is, I am motivated by my 10-year-old son and my belief that pushing yourself to dream bigger and to be uncomfortable will force you to grow. This is why I am currently engaged in a million-dollar project to construct 110 luxury yet affordable townhomes in Sachse, Texas. While simultaneously working on developing a real estate app with the aim of revolutionizing the way real estate is bought and sold. This app will allow Millennials and Gen Z to invest and create inter-generational wealth from the convenience of their homes, while providing vendors with the maximum exposure without the need for brokers’ fees. Users can expect effectiveness, simplicity, transparency, and innovation with this app.

In the future, I plan to pursue my Brokers’ License and to continue my personal and professional development, all while staying committed to my son and inspiring women from all backgrounds. My story shows that with persistence and drive, anything is possible, and giving up should never be an option.

Do you have any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general? What has worked well for you?

My top advice for anyone considering a career in real estate is to find a mentor. A great mentor can make a huge impact and was key to my success. Even with my determination to excel, it was the guidance and support from my mentors that enabled me to achieve my current level of success
