Today we’d like to introduce you to BeBe Williams.
Hi BeBe, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
In 2023, I made a decision that looked sudden to the outside world but had been twelve years in the making. I stepped away from corporate life and into ownership—not as a leap of faith, but as a deliberate return to self. Long before boardrooms and business plans, I was in my parent’s kitchen doing hair for friends at 14 years old where I fell in love with the power of transformation and the confidence it creates. With little money to spend but endless ingenuity to give, we learned to make beauty out of limitation. That early struggle forged a creativity that is now deeply etched in my brand—one my clients continue to experience today.
My fascination with beauty remedies started as a deeply personal relationship with my own skin and continued to take shape in the moments I spent studying it. In fifth grade, chicken pox left marks on my skin that quietly rewired how I saw myself. I became hyper-aware of beauty, measuring my worth against reflections and details no one else seemed to notice. What began as insecurity became curiosity—and that curiosity led me to science. Learning how skin heals, how hair transforms, and how beauty is built at a cellular level gave me my power back. I stopped chasing perfection and started creating it! I didn’t erase the scars; I outgrew them. What once made me doubt myself became the very reason I learned how to create beauty with confidence, precision, and purpose. It’s what shapes my artful intention in crafting elevated and tailored hair & skin results.
I had other ambitions alongside my interest in beauty that led me to explore broader paths in college not as a departure from beauty, but as a strategic detour—one designed to build the capital, knowledge, and perspective required to eventually return on my own terms.
I graduated from LSU with a degree in Business Law and established a longstanding career in Risk & Compliance. By the time I left corporate, I had already spent over a decade studying the machinery behind successful businesses: operations, systems, leadership, branding, finance, client experience. I was never just clocking in. I was collecting blueprints.
The beauty industry was always the destination. Corporate was the classroom.
For years, I watched how decisions were made behind closed doors—what scaled, what failed, and what quietly sustained companies long after the founder’s name faded from the marquee. I learned how margins are protected, how teams are built, how culture either compounds or collapses. I learned the cost of poor systems and the power of intentional ones. Most importantly, I learned that talent alone is never enough.
So when I finally opened my own salon, it wasn’t about walking away from something—it was about building toward something bigger.
Starting my salon meant betting on everything I had quietly prepared for. It meant trusting that the years spent learning how businesses actually run would finally align with the fire that pulled me in the direction of beauty. It meant choosing legacy, foundation, creativity, purpose and passion. It meant cultivating a new transformational path…turning ordinary into iconic!
And this time, I own it.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Preparation allowed me to clear many of the hurdles that often slow new ventures and startups down. I understood business – I knew how to plan, forecast, and execute. But preparation did not exempt me from struggle, and it did not hand me a clientele. The greatest challenge was building a clientele in a large city where my roots were shallow. I was building in a market where my name didn’t mean much yet – no brand history to stand on, no safety net of a familiar network, and surrounded by exceptionally talented stylists who had already earned their place. There were moments when the room felt full before I ever entered it.
I had to compete before I could belong. Every client was earned, not inherited. Every appointment felt like a small referendum on whether I deserved to be here at all.
That vulnerability sharpened me. It forced consistency. It demanded excellence. And slowly, client by client, I built something real—proof that preparation may open the door, but resilience is what keeps you in the room.

What makes you happy?
What makes me happy isn’t the before-and-after—it’s the moments in between. The quiet exhale when a client settles into the chair. The stories shared without rush. The trust that forms when someone allows you to see them before they’re ready to be seen by the world.
My happiness lives in the shift I witness: shoulders soften, posture lifts, eyes meet the mirror differently. It’s in the way clients leave not just styled, but steadier—the best version of themselves rediscovered after time spent in my chair. Creating that feeling, again and again, is what grounds me. It reminds me that beauty, at its best, is deeply human.
That is where my joy begins—and why I keep showing up.
