Today we’d like to introduce you to Brandon Watts.
Hi Brandon, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
The Natural Resource Brand is a company that is dedicated to bringing the humanity back to the human experience. We are focused on creating the conditions for optimal learning in two ways. Develop YOU is a six session self awareness and self actualization curriculum I created for participants to LOVE themselves! Natural Resource Brand Community (NRBC) is the non profit arm of the NRB. The NRBC is a teacher appreciation, teacher wellbeing and teacher retention nonprofit. We make it our priority that teachers feel seen, heard and valued. The NRB believes that through the work of DYOU and the NRBC we hope to make students and teachers alike feel more self aware, develop the ability to self regulates and to feel loved. In order for a person to be in a “condition” for learning they first must LOVE themselves!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Not smooth at all. Originally was named Develop University but had my name stolen by a company in NY and they tried to sale my name back to me. Lots of people try to get close but it isn’t really to help out, its to see the what and how behind the work. Lots of self doubt. But I remember my why, which is my brother passing away from what I like to phrase a lack of emotional intelligence. He passed in July of 2015 and he is the reason for the work. His name is Roland Crayton and I am proud to represent him.

Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
The wolfpack! My accountability group comprised of gents who just so happen to be my fraternity brothers. Both my brothers who are now deceased deserve credit. For had it not be for them and their battles I wouldn’t be where I am now and where I’m going.
