Today we’d like to introduce you to Brianna Vandenbroader.
Hi Brianna, so excited to have you on the platform. So, before we get into questions about your work life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today.
I had always been drawn to Tarot but had always been taught it was “bad,” but then I started working at a store that sold things like clothes and gift stuff which included tarot cards. There was this one deck that every time I came in to work my eyes where drawn to it, and I would look at it throughout the day. One day, I broke down and bought it. My co-workers asked me to read for them (I had no idea what I was doing), so I did; they said I was spot on and everything I had said was true! I was still skeptical, but I would read for them almost every day, and I started researching and studying what tarot was and the meanings, and finally I started feeling comfortable in reading for my family. I read for anyone who was willing to let me read them! My Aunt Shawna had a Reiki business called Indigo Qi, and after I read for her a few times she asked me to join her business, and I did. I started off reading Tarot, then learned Reiki and Chakra Balances, then I found Human Design, and I haven’t stopped my journey sense the day I picked up my first deck. I’ve grown so much because I got into Tarot, and my whole goal is to help other grow and find themselves too!
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It hasn’t been a smooth road for me. I’ve struggled with confidence depression, and the hardships of going after what I want out of my own journey. The road is never smooth, but you can always grow and learn how to heal so that the bumps in the future won’t be as big!

We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you.
I’ve never really believed in “luck” it’s all about what I’ve made. I’ve fallen on hard times, but those were lessons I needed to learn, and I’ve had some amazing experiences too that also taught me a lot. The universe doesn’t know if what you want is good or bad. They just know you want it, so if you say you’re going to fail you will because the universe “thinks” you want to know what it’s like to fail. Though for me, those “failures” have lead me to being the happiest I’ve ever been, and it can only get better! So good or bad, if luck is what you call it, influences my life every day in the decision and mindset I wake up with.
