Hi Bridgette, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
I graduated from University of Georgia with a degree in Interior Architecture and Design. I now have over 25 years of experience in the design industry. With a business background, passion for interior design, and years of experience, I created Designer Warehaus! I also own Legacy Renovation and Design and love residential and commercial renovations!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Owning your own business is never easy, but this year’s delays have been quite a struggle! Fortunately, I have lots of pieces in stock & ready to move in! Keeping an excellent team is also a huge asset to any business!
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
My business model is to offer “smart buys” of mid to high-end furnishings and decor for her commercial and residential customers and clients. In addition, I own Legacy Renovation and Design Services which specializes in kitchen, bath, paint, and exterior renovations. I am known for excellent pricing and a huge catalog of vendors I have great relationships with, so I can order most items you see in big stores or online.
What makes you happy?
Creating a space for a business to thrive or helping create a comfortable, stunning home for my customers makes me so happy! My new store also makes me very happy-moving from the more rustic warehouse to a more modern showroom is very exciting!
