Hi Brittany , thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My journey into entrepreneurship wasn’t something I planned — it was something I felt called to do. With over 15 years of experience in human resources and business management, I constantly found myself face-to-face with the realities of unemployment in underserved communities. I knew deep in my spirit that God was pulling me toward a purpose bigger than myself: creating access, opportunity, and hope for people who often feel overlooked.
That calling became BE Staffing Solutions LLC, a full-service workforce solutions firm and PEO now serving both Houston, Dallas & Austin. I started BE Staffing to help bridge the employment gap by offering job readiness programs, resume support, skill-trade access, mentoring, and resources that empower people to transform their lives. My mission has always been rooted in the belief that when you equip someone with the right tools, confidence, and support, you don’t just change their job — you change their future.
Along the way, BE Staffing was recognized as a finalist for the Houston Rockets and BBVA Compass Fastest Growing Businesses (2019–2020), and later honored by the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority in 2023. Each recognition has been a blessing, but the greatest reward will always be seeing people step into opportunities they once believed were beyond their reach.
My heart for service also led me to co-found Readi Heart Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to inspiring and uplifting underprivileged youth through mentorship and educational programs. Giving back isn’t just something I do — it’s part of who I am.

I am humbled, grateful, and fully aware that none of this was accomplished alone. God placed the right people, opportunities, and lessons in my path. My story is still being written, and I’m simply grateful to walk it with purpose.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Not at all — this journey has had more valleys than I can count. But each one shaped me. Each setback humbled me. And each obstacle reminded me that purpose doesn’t always come wrapped in comfort.
Entrepreneurship requires you to stretch, grow, sacrifice, and sometimes walk by faith when the path looks blurry. I’ve faced financial uncertainty, self-doubt, staffing challenges, and moments where I questioned if I was truly built for this. But every time I felt myself slipping, God reminded me why I started — and who I was called to serve.
Growing up, I was quiet but incredibly aware of my strengths. As the second oldest of eight children, leadership wasn’t optional — it was a part of daily life. My siblings often tease me, saying I’m both the sister and the parent. And honestly, they’re right. I pushed, encouraged, protected, and loved them fiercely. That same drive became the foundation of my entrepreneurial spirit.
I learned early that being the firstborn girl comes with a special kind of fire. You’re expected to lead, but you also learn to love deeply. And that balance — strength and compassion — has guided me through every business challenge.
The truth is, I’m still learning every day. I’m still growing. And I’m still trusting God to order my steps. The road hasn’t been smooth, but it has been meaningful. And I believe with my whole heart that the struggles prepare you for the blessings meant to follow.
