Today we’d like to introduce you to Chaz Gary.
Hi Chaz, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I am a Milwaukee native. I arrived in Dallas, Texas June of 2014. My wife Brittney and I relocated to Dallas, TX, after losing our home to fire In March of 2014. We had a newborn son and believed relocating to the south would provide better opportunities for us both socially and economically.
My background was in sales, and I always had a passion for entrepreneurship. Upon my family’s arrival, we utilized an apartment locator service. Coming from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, I was oblivious to this type of free service. Immediately apartment locating captured my interest; I had experience investing in real estate. I soon after obtained my real estate sales license to provide apartment locating services.
October of 2014, I launched 2ndchanceapartments.com, a free apartment locating service for individuals with background issues that may be preventing them from finding housing.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Like any other business, we have had our share of challenges, but through my faith in God and relentless ambition, we have been able to keep moving forward during the most adverse situations.
Many minority-owned businesses struggle with access to capital. Creative partnerships have been our solution; however, we are always looking for new financial backers through public and private institutions.

Today our company has evolved from an apartment locator service to a full-scale real estate brokerage, Gary Group Realty. Gary Group Realty is a professional real estate company based in Frisco, TX. We service the Dallas Forth Worth Metroplex and offer Brokerage Services, Apartment Locating, Residential Development, and Project Consulting.
I believe what sets us apart is our company is founded on the principles of integrity, offering need-based solutions, trustworthiness, and creativity. We continually seek inventive and innovative ways to provide stellar solutions to housing problems and give our clients a smooth and fulfilling experience. This way, we make our clients feel cared for and valued and make them feel like an essential part of Gary Group Realty.
I am proud of our ability to treat buyers, sellers, and investors with respect regardless of budget or credit. But, most importantly, our ability to deliver on our promises.
What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
The Dallas Forth Worth Metroplex provides some of the best Entertainment, Restaurants, Nature preserves, and Economic development you can find in the entire world. However, what makes this place unique is the people. The natives are hospitable and tell about the rich history of this place. The transplants like myself make it culturally diverse and inclusive. My family and I are proud to call Texas home.
