Today we’d like to introduce you to Dajah Thompson.
Hi Dajah, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I’m an upcoming licensed lash artist. I specialize in eyelash extensions. I started off when I was turning 16 years old in the year 2020 during quarantine. I just wanted a side hustle to make extra money and now doing lashes full time.
I started by doing it on the living room couch to my bed. Eventually, I bought a setup to go to my dad’s apartment.
A year in a half later I rented out a room in a shop in Arlington and paid my way through lash school in Dallas. Now by August 2022, I will be a licensed lash artist at 18 years old with my own lashes brand, all by working hard for 2 years.
Hopefully now to open my own storefront and continue my lash business journey!
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
There were some struggles along the way but I always remembered where I started and never give up.
Who else deserves credit in your story?
My family is my biggest supporter. They love that I am happy with what I do and believe I will become successful with my small business.
