Hi Danielle, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Being the candle lover that I am, there was nothing more exciting than a HUGE candle sale, so I could stock up on my favorite scents! Months after not being able to conceive, getting daily migraines, and a foggy brain, me and my doctors began to take a closer look into what I was using on a daily basis, and there was only one thing… candles. After many weeks of research, I realized that the products I was burning in my home were causing me harm because they were full of toxins and chemicals. Toxins so dangerous that they could cause infertility. So, what was a girl like me to do? I mean I burned candles every day, during work, after cleaning, or even just to relax in a bubble bath. The motivation began to pour in, and before I knew it, I couldn’t sleep because these ideas were flooding my thoughts. I was instantly pregnant, pregnant with my PURPOSE!
What could I do to change one of my favorite products, into something that was not only going to make me happy but also be SAFE for me to use?
An ALL NATURAL, 100% Soy Candle Line.
After months of this fire inside of me, I gave birth. I gave birth to my purpose, to what I didn’t even know at the time would later become my livelihood and my baby. Prosperity Candles & Co.
The name “Prosperity “came to me in a dream. A successful, flourishing, or thriving condition. Prosperous derives from the Latin word Prosperous, meaning “doing well.”
After successfully creating a safe, all-natural candle line, I then added wax melts, room sprays, and carpet fresheners that are all also all-natural and safe to use in our homes, around our pets, and kids.
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Growing up, my parents instilled in me that “nothing worth having would be easy. “As an adult, this still sits with me every day. I knew going into this, it would not be a smooth road, but I gave birth to this baby, and now it was time to raise it. There were days that I wanted to give up. Days when none of my candle formulas were working, even though they had worked the month before. Months where I couldn’t sell one candle. I changed labels, I changed jars, I went from color to no color, and I went through hundreds of scents before deciding what was right for me and this line that I wanted to share with the world. I couldn’t give up on this because it’s something that became so near and dear to me not only after I suffered the side effects of toxic products but even more so when others around me had also suffered.

Here we are now, years later. Prosperity has expanded and is now available all over the United States, and one day, worldwide. Now, we can clean our homes and enjoy all the benefits such as the freshness and the beautiful aroma of candles and other home care products, the safe way.
Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
For those who have a dream, don’t give up. No matter how hard it is, no matter how many obstacles may stand in your way. No matter how many other people are out there doing the same exact thing you are. Focus on you and your dream! Someone once said something that stuck with me, “Your smile is your logo, your personality is your business card, and how you leave others feeling after an experience with you is your trademark.”
