Exploring Life & Business with D’Authentic Purpose of Unite The Community Project Incorporated

Today we’d like to introduce you to D’Authentic Purpose.

Hi D’Authentic, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
I’ve always wanted to help others and make a difference; I just didn’t know how I was going to do it. I had the vision of helping people in different communities. City to city, state to state. For anybody in need, the plan is to help. From homeless people to school kids. It didn’t matter.

Unite The Community Project Inc. came about in July 2021. I’ve been in plenty of situations where people have helped me when I needed them most and now it’s my turn to help others who may be in the same kind of predicament that I once was. Just having someone there to care means a lot. What started as a thought quickly turned into a vision and I just made it happen. Nowadays it’s hard out here just trying to make it another day. There’s so much going on in the world that you just don’t know what will happen anymore. There are a lot of people in need and although I know I can’t help everyone, I’m happy and blessed just to be able to help anyone that I can.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I have to say that in the beginning, it was not easy. I didn’t know where to start or what to do but after a lot of thought and prayer, things started to come to fruition. So far everything that I have done has been with my own money which has not been easy. As everyone knows, Covid changed a lot of things and made it harder to live. When I’m able to provide, I do so with no hesitation. But trying to make a living while trying to help others at the same time with my own money has been a task. There are always going to be obstacles along the way when you’re trying to better yourself and do something good. You just have to keep pushing and keep going because it will all pay off.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Unite The Community Project Incorporated?
Unite The Community Project (UTCP) is a nonprofit aimed to help others and make a difference. My organization’s motto is “Let’s Create a Better World Because Life Has a Purpose.” Life has and always will have a purpose and if we work together to help one another we can create a better world. I’ve prepared over 100 sack lunches for Arlington Life Shelter. I have “I’m G.O.O.D.”Bags (Getting Over Obstacles Daily) that I distribute to the homeless people that I see when I’m out and about. The bags consist of hygiene products, non-perishable food items, a bottle of water, a washcloth, and a pair of socks, just to name a few. These bags cost about $10-$15 each to make. I had a goal to make 1,000 bags last year but didn’t reach it, unfortunately. At about $10 a bag for 1000 bags, that is pretty pricey and I don’t just have $10,000 laying around. Even though I didn’t reach my goal I didn’t give up because I still see myself reaching my goal of 1000 and eventually hundreds of thousands. UTCP is all about uniting the community and helping others in the community and all over the globe. I’m always looking for honest and loyal volunteers to help with this vision. What I’m most proud of brand-wise is the fact that I made it happen. I stuck to the plan and saw the vision. I never thought in a million years that I would have my own nonprofit and now that I’ve started it there’s no going back. One day I will be able to take UTCP all over the country providing the help that’s needed.

Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
The advice that I have is to stay focused and never give up. Never be afraid to put yourself out there and go for your dreams. If you don’t try, you’ll never know and when things don’t turn out the way you planned, don’t give up, just figure out a different way to make it work. You have to try in order for you to know if it’s going to work, whatever it is that you are doing or offering. The goal is to keep going. I have failed a lot of times and I know there will be other failures along the way. But if you don’t fail, how can you know what works and what doesn’t? Have patience and keep the faith.
