Today we’d like to introduce you to Dustin Gutkowski.
Hi Dustin, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
It was not the easiest childhood. I grew up in a broken home where I was exposed to drug use, abuse, and other things difficult for a child to understand. I ended up on my own and homeless at fourteen. It was tough but it gives me perspective and ultimately it helped make me who I am today. Those traumatic experiences either haunt you, which they did when I was a young adult, or make you strong. Today I own my own business and all then lessons and hardships are used as fuel to chase my goals and dreams.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
It has not been smooth at all, but that is life. No one is going hand you anything. It took my five years to graduate high school, I was homeless at fourteen and slept in my car for a time in my early twenties. I have fallen down countless times but always got back up and now I am living my dream.

We are relational, not transactional and that guides everything we do. I started Results Roofing to get results for everyone, especially our homeowners and customers. As someone that grew up at times without a home and now with a family of my own, I take that responsibility very seriously. So many people start a business because they think it will give them freedom or it sounds cool to be an owner. It can give those things, but first you must give the business life through your efforts, so make sure it is something you can fully commit to. Results Roofing is a big part of my life, I’m obsessed with it and believe in our purpose. You will also have to block out the noise, good and bad, and trust yourself then great things can happen.
