Today we’d like to introduce you to Elsa Dean.
Hi Elsa, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I was born in Mexico and raised in Las Vegas, so I like to say I’m a true Vegas girl. Growing up surrounded by so much beauty, lights, and entertainment inspired me from a young age. I always knew I wanted to be part of the beauty industry it just felt like where I was meant to be.
For years, I worked in the casino industry, but deep down I knew my heart wasn’t there. I wanted to do something that made people feel beautiful, confident, and cared for. So, I took a leap of faith, enrolled in beauty school, and started chasing my dream. Those days weren’t easy. I was working full-time, going to school, and barely getting any sleep, but I was determined to make it happen. I graduated from cosmetology school and decided to focus on becoming a lash tech.
Fast forward a few years, I became a wife and a proud mother of three – a son and 2 daughters. Balancing motherhood while building a career hasn’t been easy, but my kids are my biggest motivation. Through it all, my husband has been my rock. He’s always believed in me and saw the potential in me even when I doubted myself. He knew I would be great, and that support has meant everything to me.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
In 2019, my family and I moved to Texas looking for better opportunities. Getting familiar with a new city and community was challenging. I started working for someone else, but I quickly realized that wasn’t where I saw myself. I wanted to control my own destiny and create something that truly reflected my passion and vision. That’s when everything changed. I decided to trust myself and open my own business—Ever Lash’n Beauty—in 2021. It was a challenge, but one I’ll never regret.
The journey hasn’t been smooth, but every struggle has made me stronger. Every challenge pushed me to grow, and now I can look back and see they were all stepping stones to where I am today. I’m proud of how far I’ve come and thankful that I get to do what I love—making people feel their best and creating a space where they can truly relax and unwind.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
At Ever Lash’n Beauty, I specialize in lashes and waxing, and I’ll soon be adding facials as well. What sets me apart is the quality of my work and the genuine care I have for my clients. I treat lashes like an art form—taking my time to create the perfect look for each client while helping them simplify their daily routine. My goal is to make every person who walks through my door feel seen, valued, and cared for. I also make it a priority to keep learning and staying up to date with new techniques, products, and trends. The beauty industry is always evolving, and I’m passionate about growing right along with it.
If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
I’d say the most important quality to my success is consistency. In the beauty industry, showing up every day and giving your best to each client builds trust and lasting relationships. It’s not just about skill, but about being reliable and passionate every single time.
