Today we’d like to introduce you to Emine Ademi
Emine, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I was actually born and raised in the restaurant business…literally, my mother gave birth to me at my father’s first restaurant in the banquet room bathrooms. My aunt cut my umbilical cord with my father’s dest scissors. Sorry for the graphic content but needless to say I live and breath the business. My husband and I had 3 restaurants in Wisconsin, we first started at our Italian Restaurant in whitewater named Fanatico , from there we build our portfolio to a pizzeria then to a breakfast cafe. Because of my family’s background we are very versatile and can do it all.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Nothing is ever smooth especially in the restaurant business. But when you manage the organized caios its not so bad.
We’ve been impressed with Salute Italian Restaurant , but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I’m proud of everything that we do here
For me first and foremost it has to. E a clean space and we definitely are frim the fri t of the house to the back. Second, when you walk into a place any place it needs to be welcoming, I need it to be inviting and Salute is so calming it’s as if your eating outside on the streets of Italy. The decor is nothing like you have ever seen, it’s a retro Italian scene with the black and white photos to the wooden spoons my mom used to use on us. (Lol) to the hanging trees coming out of the walls, it really is a beautiful space. Our dishes are made with LOVE, and the flavors show case it. The food is a ART, and it’s displayed so. Our crafted cocktails that our bartenders create are so tasteful. The severs are top notch and really love working here. We have to create a environment that’s exciting and innovating and the staff really feels that energy. So everything listed above is what sets us apart, it’s not just 1 thing we’re good at, you have to have it all
We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
Success is also failure, because without failing you can not.grow or succeed at doing things better or not doing them the same way as before. Ohhhh success is being happy with what God has blessed you with and recognizing it.
