Today we’d like to introduce you to Ericka Pearson.
Hi Ericka, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Hello everyone! I’m Ericka — a proud businesswoman wearing a few amazing hats! I’ve been blessed to join Keller Williams as a licensed real estate agent, and I’m also the proud owner of Savory Souls Kitchen, my catering business.
I decided to step into real estate because I noticed so many similarities between selling food and selling homes. Both take passion, presentation, and trust! If I can show thousands of people that I pour love into every meal I serve, I know I can do the same when helping families find their dream home.
My goal is to be the best in both fields — to earn my clients’ trust with their biggest decisions, just like they trust me with the meals I prepare for their families.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
A wise woman once said, “Anything worth having won’t come easy.” And she was absolutely right. This journey has had its bumps, potholes, accidents and setbacks, but I’ve learned to see every challenge as a lesson, not a loss.
Each obstacle has built resilience, each mistake has forced me to grow, and every lesson is molding me into the best version of myself. The road may not be smooth, but the destination damn sure is and im heading to the TOP! Upwards and forward.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Savory Souls Kitchen, Licensed real estate agent for KELLER WILLIAMS ?
Hello everyone!
I’m Ericka — a proud businesswoman wearing a few amazing hats! I’m a licensed real estate agent with Keller Williams, the owner of Savory Souls Kitchen, and a newlywed enjoying this beautiful new chapter of life.
I decided to step into real estate because I noticed so many similarities between selling food and selling homes — both take passion, presentation, and trust. If I can show thousands of people that I pour love into every meal I serve, I know I can do the same when helping families find their dream homes.
My goal is to be the best in both fields — to earn my clients’ trust with their biggest life decisions, just as they trust me with the meals I prepare for their loved ones.
I’m also deeply proud of how far I’ve come. Growing up without a father and without much family support, I faced some tough battles — including overcoming major depression. But I’ve learned that my tears were only watering my flowers. Every storm along with my mother’s love grew me into the woman I am today.
To anyone feeling doubtful, weary, or hopeless: God is with you every single day. Choose to strengthen what’s good, always speak life, it’s okay to cry, scream, or shout if you need to — just don’t give up. Your breakthrough is growing right beneath the surface. O and please let me know if you need a dedicated resilient realtor, or would like any type of catering services, I’ll be honored and look forward to meeting some new customers!
Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
I know it might sound cliché, but I don’t really believe in luck — I believe in alignment and accountability. I’ve learned that when you put good energy into the world, good things find their way back to you. That’s what I consider my “good karma.”
I have a strong bond with God, and my faith plays a major role in both my personal life and my businesses. I pray, I fast, and I always listen for understanding. If something doesn’t feel right, I trust that feeling and take a different route.
When challenges or setbacks happen, I don’t see them as bad luck — I see them as lessons. I take time to reflect on what I could have done differently and how I can grow from it. I truly believe that staying humble, accountable, and spiritually grounded is what continues to guide me toward success.
