Today we’d like to introduce you to Evan Moore.
Hi Evan, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers?
Hi, I am Evan Moore, I have been in the foodservice industry for 15 years. My formal training is a BS in hospitality management from Texas Tech University and culinary degree from Johnson & Wales University. After graduation, my big start into the foodservice industry was at Cowboys Golf Club in Grapevine Texas as the assistant food and beverage director. From there I continued my journey holding different titles as Food & Beverage Director, General Manager, and Area Director with different organizations. During my career as a working professional, I have always had the mindset with the entrepreneurial mentality. 5 years ago, myself and wife Paloma together we created a side hustle on top of our current full-time jobs. We decided to call the side hustle, The Bite Company. With The Bite Company we would work with local brewery as pop-up events for weekend and nights. The Bite Company was so successful that we were able to purchase a food truck to grow the business into Street Bites food truck. Street Bites food truck focuses on creating memorable experience through food and service for guests at corporate events, weddings, birthday parties, and social gatherings. We have expanded Street Bites into a brick and mortar located in Lewisville Texas at the food court of The Music City mall. Street Bites @ Music City Mall location opened in late 2019. Our food trucks currently service the DFW area.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
As with any business, there is always ups and down, especially in 2020 – 2021. Street Bites restaurant at Music City Mall opened in late 2019. Only a few short months later into 2020 we were forced to shut down due to Covid. Thankfully we saw an opportunity with private outdoor events, and we were able recover lost revenue during the shutdown.

Street Bites is a business that is feeding the streets of the DFW area. We specialize in street food that caters to corporate events, wedding, birthday parties, and social gatherings. Our delicious food and top-notch service will make every guest leave your event wowed about Street Bites food truck.
