Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Stated by a vision . Having lunch with my sister and her friends at west village. I was looking at a tall high rise. I just thought I can leave my corporate world and if I could just walk dogs per dayMon-Fri charge $10 prdog i would be happy with my paycheck. That salt stayed with me. I started calling all the high towers in dallas and offered them discount dog walking if they advertise. Renaissance on Turtle Creek manager agreed. We had an interview. He was interviewing other dog walkers. He would promote them for free.If they would give a discount for his residence after a few interviews, I got a call three months later. He informed me he has chosen me. I couldn’t even believe it all.I had was the passion of walking.Dogs and working with pet parents. I was getting really burned out by the corporate world. And it was also making me sick. I started at renaissance, built my trust with people. I had decided this business is not a business. It’s my child.I will cherish it.Nourish it?Love it.Have patience with it and constantly every day work hard. If you love it, you can be successful.Because you will never be tired, making it work. Communication and building a trust with pet parents is crucial. My integrity and my honor was on the line with my name. People saw that and their feelings. They were getting from meeting me.They knew it was authentic. From the residents of renaissance, from one resident to another, the word went around who I was.And I started getting hired. Before I knew it 2013 i had developed strong friendships with pet parents. It became the word of the mouth. I went from walking one dog to multiple.Dogs and in the process 2015 i met Art Ortiz. Dogfit Dallas. He saw something in me that I didn’t see myself. He believed in me.He could see the love.I have for dogs and he continued teaching me how to walk dogs. How to communicate with dogs in the same year?I got to go to california with art to meet caesar milan dog whisper. Art told me, this is life changing. I continued my work.My passion with dogs and I learned more and more every day. It’s what we call now dog psychology. My head was more in a corporate world. But my heart was with dogs. I went from walking dogs to babysitting dogs in their home. And more dogs in my house.
I now presently 2026 sold my house in Rowlett bought a house in plano and continued nourishing and loving my work. I moved to a bigger house bigger backyard. And he all started with just a dream. And a vision. Many times I was afraid I tell myself, what did I do.Why did I do this? But my heart was happier. Sometimes I still can’t believe where I am still to this date Art ortiz is still helping me teaching me?It’s never ending when it comes to dogs. You always learn every day. I love every moment of my life with all the the struggles of being successful. And i’m so grateful to every family that has believed in me, trusted me. And what an honor that you are asking me about my story, what an honor that you’ve reached

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It was not a smooth road. Leaving the corporate world, the money insurance investment to leave all that behind. It was very difficult, financially. And also of course, I was not in a good marriage. And he was not supportive or he cared about was for me to pay my part of the bills. So, yes, I had to use my savings.I had to use my 401 k to pay my bills in this marriage. Lol. I just knew I don’t want to be in a corporate world. So I took a chance on myself. There were Financial struggles. It’s not as easy as I thought.I had to be patient and just spread the word on who I am. I was not in a good marriage so every day was a struggle. But I kept going.I separated my private life with my work. The structure was,how do I manage my time walking dogs. I was afraid every day I had already left corporate. I had no money coming. I was running out of my savings and my spouse made fun of me. I just did not want to quit at the same time. I spoke to my lord to the higher up, asking him guiding me and slowly the right people entered my life one of the residents at the renaissance took a chance on me bryan and marcia rose brian helped me walk dogs when I couldn’t make it.He continued encouraging me.I’m not to give up.Meanwhile, my marriage was falling apart as I was seeing it clearly. This is the wrong place to be.But I continued working, and I couldn’t continue working hard and loving my work.

We’ve been impressed with frankies paws and play, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Our place is all about quality. Not quantity of dogs we keep. I enjoy being with dogs every day.And we have a very structured, safe and clean place for all the pets. I consider these pets to be ritz.Carlton, children. We have a home environment dogboarding. It’s 24 hr supervision.
When the pets stay with me, we do provide transportation. Some of the families are 20-30miles away but they preferred their dog to stay with me.So they pay for transportation.
We do dog walking downtown dallas.
We would like to provide dog walking for senior citizen assistant.Livings. we do basic social training for small dogs. Our home with these dogs. It’s a Zen center, a quiet place. A respectful place since I live here with the dogs. It’s important that we have respect for each other. And understand each other’s boundaries. We have a lot of hands on for each individual.Dog’s.

What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
What I have learned is never give up.You need to have a support system. Surround yourself with people that believe in you.And they will encourage you. If there’s something you love and you’re able to make it happen.Try it you never know if you do not try. There are struggles on the way to be successful.Give a time. But before you plunge in have a plan, even it can be chaotic. But it still needs to be in order. There is always a plan in the middle of chaos. I have discovered I am a lot stronger than I thought. I am far more independent than I thought. And I discovered so much more about myself through this journey, and now that I am single. And happy and healthier.
