Today we’d like to introduce you to Henry Rojo Lopez.
Hi Henry, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Our Real Estate journey began in 2019 when we received our Licences from Champions School of Real Estate. We always knew we wanted to own a business, and from a very young age, we had a desire for learning and adapting new skill sets that would ultimately allow us to continue to grow into something bigger.
In 2015, I graduated from J.J Pearce High School in my hometown Richardson Texas. My strong determination for success led to me getting accepted at The University of Texas at Dallas, where I spent the next couple of years learning different business models, leadership skills, and most importantly, mastering effective communication. All while also working for one of the largest banks in the United States, Capital One. In the midst of it all, Diana and I were eager to start a business of our own and experience a lot of trial and error trying to do so. One of our favorite experiences was starting a candle business together which we named “HD Aroma” We had a lot of support from our family and friends, which led us to want to grow a more serious and profitable business. In 2019 we had our first baby, and we named him Henry Jr. he is and has been a huge blessing and our biggest motivation to continue moving forward. Shortly after, I graduated from UTD with a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Real Estate, ultimately freed up more of my time allowing me to fully focus on build my business. We Joined Keller Williams Urban Dallas in July of 2019, and thanks to the wonderful leadership, our amazing clients, and our desire to thrive we begin to see results.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Our journey has definitely been a roller coaster since the beginning. When starting a business of any sort, there are so many highs and lows that you have to overcome in order to be successful. Our biggest challenge was building that trust with strangers to allow us to help them with one of their biggest life decisions. In order to meet more people, we took it upon us to practice “door knocking” We made it a goal to knock on as many doors as possible, and that itself was a huge challenge. We experience many rejections during this time. Many homeowners slamming their doors on our face while others didn’t open the door at all. On several occasion, we were so close to getting attacked by dogs. There is one experience in particular that we will never forget; during our door-knocking routine we came across an individual who was so upset about us knocking on his family’s home that he chased us off his property pointing a raffle at us while screaming horrible things.
We were able to overcome these obstacles by keeping our end goal in mind every single time.

The Rojo Realty Group consists of two Real Estate Agents, Henry Rojo Lopez, and Diana L Gonzalez. We specialize in providing value to new and existing homeowners who are looking to build or expand their portfolio, creating generational wealth through Real Estate. We work with many first-time home buyers who haven’t been through the home-buying process, and we assist and educate them from beginning to end. We also work very closely with homeowners who are looking to maximize the value of their home when considering making a move to sell. Our team is unique in the sense that we take pride in who we are; being fluent in both English and Spanish has opened many doors for us. We make the best of both worlds. The Rojo Realty Group believes in treating all parties fairly and honestly while keeping our client’s best interest in mind.
We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up.
A childhood memory I will carry with me forever and still continues to be my favorite is my grandmother’s cooking. She loves to cook for me, and I absolutely enjoy all her dishes, from the most simple to the most special. I am a food lover and also enjoy trying new restaurants and cafes.
