Exploring Life & Business with Jean Cozier of VEAUX COZIER

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jean Cozier.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
It all started as a dream from when I was a kid. I remember falling in love with fragrances and sunglasses. I remember how awesome it was to have my first wallet. I always was in love with fashion, but I had no idea how to get into it or where to start. When I became a content creator back in 2015 this is where I would start to make my mark. I got to work with so many brands, large ones and startups. I got to see and learn how to create a brand from the start. A few years later VEAUX COZIER was born.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It was definitely not a smooth road. I made a lot of mistakes, and didn’t even truly know if I would ever start VEAUX COZIER. I had a habit of putting others before myself and with doing that it would push my goals and dreams further and further behind. I would invest time, effort and financially in others and eventually end up losing a lot of what I had. I had to distance myself and learn to put myself first in order to create my brand.

As you know, we’re big fans of VEAUX COZIER. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
VEAUX COZIER is inspired by the Haitian saying “Si Je Veux” (If God’s Will). VEAUX COZIER creates bold fragrances and statement accessories for those who refuse to blend in, the individuals who stand apart and the believers who stand firmly in their purpose.

VEAUX COZIER marries modern designs, creative expression and clean simplicity, delivering premium quality for less. Because luxury shouldn’t just be worn, it should be remembered, felt, and always within reach.

Are there any books, apps, podcasts or blogs that help you do your best?
No not any specific ones. To do my best in life I just learn from my mistakes, go to therapy, and have open conversations with family and friends.
