Hi Jeff, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
TDF Restoration grew out of hands-on work and real experience, not a big business plan. I’ve been cleaning air ducts and dryer vents for about 15 years, starting out simply learning the trade and seeing firsthand how much neglected systems affect people’s homes, health, and safety. Over time, I realized there was a real need for honest, thorough work in an industry that’s often rushed or overlooked. What began as a skill turned into a calling to do things the right way — no shortcuts, no scare tactics, just solid service people can trust. I built TDF Restoration by word of mouth, showing up when others wouldn’t and treating every home like it was my own. The company has grown steadily because relationships matter to me more than volume. At the end of the day, my story is about consistency, integrity, and taking pride in work that most people never see — but definitely feel.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It hasn’t always been smooth. There were slow seasons, long days, and plenty of times I had to lean on God when the work or money wasn’t guaranteed. I learned the hard way that you can’t rush growth; you just keep showing up and doing the work right. Looking back, the struggles built my faith and shaped the kind of business I run today. I trust God with the results and focus on being faithful with the work in front of me.

Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?

I wish I had understood sooner that success rarely comes fast, but it does come from consistency. There were times I wanted to rush things or compare my progress to others, and that only added pressure. Trust God with the outcome, stay faithful in the small jobs, and don’t cut corners just to get ahead.
